My opinion? Well truthfully high school was overwhelming the first few weeks but towards the middle of the year it gets easier but i definitely agree with @ZombieSlayer's list. Im a freshman this year so i def relate to hers.

Don't worry :) I was terrified too...but I honestly love high school. And no one really cares about your height (there are some seniors who are under 5 feet tall, soo..) There's no need to worry, you'll be fine! Make lots of friends on the first day too

It's honestly not as bad as everyone makes it
after the first days you'll get the hang of things
after the first week everything is going to seem like normal

no worries

Don't worry at all! I was literally dieing at the beginning of the year, so afraid, and i didnt have that many friends in my classes but i just was myself and nice to everyone and i made friends! I get to see some of my other friends walking around in the morning and at lunch too! :) it is NOT as bad as you seem, and theres sooo many short people in my school they wont trample you i promise! And dont be afraid to talk to people and be outgoing just not an obxnoxious freshman, haha some people learned their lesson...and also dont party too much, stay focused on school cuz it gets really stresssfulll especially if ur in honor classes and stuff so just be positive and you'll get through the year just fine! :) xoxo

Don't panic! Im a freshman and haven't cracked 5'0 yet! AND THERE ARE PEOPLE SMALLER THAN ME! For once, in high school i am the tall friend! There are so many people, you won't stand out for being short. And the best part about it? Nobody gives a sh/t what you want to be. If you want to wear tons of eyeliner, sure why not? To be totally honest, I feel much less judged in a big school with tons of new people than with the same 60 kids I had been to kindergraden with. Occasionally the hallways get packed and i fear for my life, butwithin the first month, i garuntee you will know the lesser traveled halls to go to. Please don't overthink this. I love my highschool a lot. Feel free to message me whenever!

LOL teachers force you to interact with others so much that eventually you'll find someone nice!

My advice:
1.) Do not procrastination.
2.) Try not to get on anyone's bad side, even if you don't like them. Trust me it will pay off.
3.) Don't talk behind peoples backs, that t seems to get around to the person you were talking about.
4.) Be social!
5.) Do as much work as you can in class because homework sucks.
6.) The majority of guys in high school will just use you, don't have unless you are comfortable with it and don't send pics that stuff gets around.
7.) Do what makes YOU happy and don't give a f/ck what people think of you.
8.) And last one I can think of, if you're gonna get drunk don't get too smashed and don't smoke w33d before class.

Thanks for the advice haha, and trust me, I don't plan on getting drunk or smoking weed (I'd rather not have my parents skin me alive haha.) Thanks again for the advice c:

I'm short too...you'll make it..just know you can't be nice..PUSH AND SHOVE! you will always find friends no matter what,MAKE NEW FRIENDS BUT KEEP THE OLD! and being small is fun, people don't expect you to be aggressive..so be aggressive in halls. Honestly i just watch to many teenager movies when everyone picks on the new kid, but to be honest noone does . You'll be fine..haha

honestly , im a sophomore and . 1. highschool isnt what it looks like in the movies, everybody isnt HUGE and older looking trust me :) im 4'11'' but its no different . Nobody bugs about height.
2. just be youself, honestly. if youre just a kind person thats all that matters. youll make friends.
3. that happens, but once the first two weeks go by, the whole class just acts in unison . and youll make friends in that class. Tips: be yourself . try to make a variety of friends. FOCUS ON SCHOOLWORK . i know this is said to much but TRUUUSSTTT ME . itll pay off. :) xoxox-

I'm going into highschool next year too, but i'm not really nervous, wanna know why? I don't worry about fitting in with others, if i find someone i have something in common with, great. if you think i'm wierd, that's great too, i don't care. And if you're worried about who's gonna be in your classes don't :-) you probably won't have your friends in every class and neither will everyone else. i'm not shy so i'll just go talk so someone. And from what i hear everyone will get shoved in the hall every now and then, try holding your ground and pushing through the crowd before the crowd pushes you

You'll be fine I'm a freshman and I'm only 4'11. The only thing you half to worry about is not wanting to push the slow walkers in front of you. Odds are you'll have classes with you friends and if you don't. You could easily make some new friends. And don't worry about fitting in people don't care what you wear or how dress as long as you don't judge them. And a tip: pick your friends carefully and I know you probably been told that a thousand times but before you know it you end up with one or two real friends

I'm a freshman this year, and I'm only 5'2, and I have a baby face. It's honestly not a big deal because there are even upperclassmen who are smaller and younger looking than me! For me, personally, I like high school so much better because I'm in all honors classes so I don't have to be with people who act up in class, and I have a bunch of friends in my classes. Just make sure that you are outgoing, and organize well! I'm sure you will NEVER get trampled, and I'm sure that you will do fine! Don't worry about getting lost... all the teachers are always super chill about it. :) You'll do great!

Im a freshman this year and i was worried about the same exact thing. I do not get trampled and i have at least some of my friends in every class. Im sure you will fit in too. But don't worry about your height.

Don't worry about being short. Lol I'm 5'0 and a sophomore. Trust me, it helps when you're walking through the hall ;)) and don't worry about 'fitting in'. There's lots of different people at school. I bet you'll find a group to hang out with. Just have fun

Ha, I'm smaller than all the year sevens at my school (I'm in year eight). I know what its like to be scared that you're going to get trampled, but I never have been. You'll probably meet a whole lot of new people that you have classes with. Its possible that people older than you (like grade 8, 9.) could give you, and a lot of other people crap for the first week, but they'll get over it eventually. (:

No one will trample you, highschools really fun just don't let go of the people who matter to you and you won't ever have to worry about fitting in.

okay, i just graduated from highschool, and i can honestly say that they were the best 6 years of my life.
1) at the beginning of every year there are about a million tiny people running around. im not being offensive, but its true. and there are always a range of heights.
2) you keep an open attitude and people will too. as long as you dont change yourself to fit in.
3) in my second year of highschool i was in noooo classed with any of my friends. but i made new friends and now they're like my sisters.

and dont worry, high school will be totally fun :) :)
goood luck (not that you'll need it).
