My brothers had a bunch of those. Very terrifying. Now my mom won't let anybody say the word 'panic attack' or even 'Seizure' cause he gets those too.

I hate having panic attacks, it feels like the room is closing in on you. It scares you to death.

Feeling like there's a weight on your chest.. I have generalized anxiety. So I have anxiety/panic attacks, they suck.

I've had them sometimes, but luckily, the last one I had was about a month and a half ago.

Well I can't really explain, it's a panic attack. Its like I'm detached from everything surrounding me, and people. I can't explain

They are scary. My sister had one at like 1 am last night. I was scared to death. It's not pretty. It's terrible to see people like that.

Omfg yes, girls at my school would just be like "oooh, I'm gonna pretend to have a panic attack so I don't have to do it" and it's like really???? Also the receptionists would make me sit under the stairs during rush hour because they're inconsiderate b/tches. UGH.

Yes! People never believe me when I say that I feel like I'm about to have a panic attack - they think I'm just saying I'm scared. That is, until I violently shake to the point where I can't stand.

The worst thing is those popular girls in your school that dramatically fan their faces while saying, "oh my lawd im having an anxiety attack" like stop. You do not have "anxiety disorder" or panic disorder. You're just an attention wh*re.

Is still it a panic attack if it only lasts for like, 2-5 minutes? Or is that just, idk just like a weird moment?

I have panic attacks. Not very often. But they scare the heck outta me. And the occasional person, (Best friend), who I have talk me through it. Not something people need to be joking about. Neither is OCD or anxiety. All of those are so dang terrifying as it is, not something you would want the whole entire world to know. And it won't get you attention, people just think you're a freak. Okay I'm done :D
