I am for underaged drinking because it is the person's choice. People will do what they want. I drink. I drink a lot, actually. I've gotten so trashed that I've blacked out but I didn't do any stupid. Apparently I'm really lovely and touchy when I'm drunk and people say that they love being with me when I am. I drink because it makes me happy and for a little while I can forget about things I'm trying not to remember.

I'm for underage drinking. What is the point of having a drinking age if kids are going to drink anyways? It's the matter of being smart while drinking... not getting in a car with someone or yourself driving, not making a fool of yourself and not getting in to trouble. You are responsible for your own actions.

I am against underage drinking. But, I also believe that every person is responsible for themselves and if they want to drink alcohol, then go ahead. I just find that there are other alternatives of drinks other than alcoholic drinks. Also, alcohol is pretty much poison in your system.

i really don't care. It's the person's decision and I think that if they are responsible then its okay. As long as they are educated about the possible consequences, make smart decisions, and alcohol doesn't consume their life, then its ok.

I'm against drinking in general because I'm a Christian but I'm really against under aged drinking. Theirs laws against it because when your under 21, the decision making part of your brain is not fully developed. I don't really see whats so great about drinking bitter fluids until you are not able to form a coherent sentence and you are not aware of your actions, only to wake up the next day and feel like crap, while your insides slowly deteriate.

Both, under certain circumstances. For: just don't get drunk. It's okay, but don't go overboard.
Against: you know what will happen, you know the consequences, yet you still do it. Plus, it f****s up your brain. Drinking usually ends up with idiotic decisions. Sometimes even death. Be careful.

Against: The brain isn't finished developing till age 21. And the part that takes the longest to develop is the part that deals with consequences. And on a personal note Alcoholism has been a horrible issue on both sides of my family. And personally I don't see the point. I just don't get what's supposed to be fun about getting drunk and drinking in general.

I'm against it because I seen first handed what it can do to you ( nothing good), I think that the should wait until 21

I've drank. Alot. But I was always with multiple adults, or with my friends older siblings, ect. Underage drinking is really their choice. The only reason I would be against it is if they were driving, acting stupid in public, ect.

Honestly, I don't really care. It's the teen's choice. You know the effects of alcohol, so if you do it, you'll get them. Consequences. If you don't do it, good for you. It's all up to the teen.

For and against:
For: In some state you can have a parent be with you that you can drink like couple of alcohol or beer. But dont drink and drink and drink. That will become a big problem. Probably maybe drink once awhile.

Against: when you are at a party, bad things can happens. Let say this, You and your boyfriend went to a wild party at night and there is bunch of girls and guys. Once they get too drunk. Their reaction is that they dont know what they are doing. The boyfriend could be different side of the girlfriend and not being with each other. The boyfriend get super drunk that he took some random girl to the room. Yeah bad things happens right there. The girlfriend is still standing around drinking and grinding with other boys. Once they get home, they feel so sick and throwning up. Week later the girlfriend found out that boyfriend had done nasty stuff to some random girl. They broke up and dislike each other. You can also get arrested for doing underage drinking. People who get into addiction with drinking, smoking, etc as a stress reliever. Its DOES NOT help at all. It will causes more problems to your family and the things are revolved around you. What help need is from parent and professional therapist. You may think they are so dumb and doesnt know what they are doing. Im pretty sure they are finding a way to make you better that you dont back to those addiction and what causing you to do it again. Teen driving is most likely the #1 death in USA. Either they were drinking and driving, texting and driving, or driving super fast. You may think cops are so dumb and stupid, maybe you should realized what you did to yourself.

Well, honestly, I think that as long as you're doing it in moderation and not getting drunk or driving, then a little is fine. Although you could damage your body because it's still developing. Morally, though, I don't think I could drink underage knowing that I broke the law. But that's just me.

Where I live, the age to drink is 18 so obviously, more young teens drink since the age is closer. My brother's first drink was at 13, obviously he was not very mature yet so he blacked out from taking too much and almost fell off a cliff but that never happened to me since I got a lesson from him. I think that as long as you're responsible and you don't go overboard, it's fine

I would say, as long as you're responsible and not being stupid about it. Don't drink and drive, don't be a bother to innocent others. You're fine. I'm 16 and I've drank. Have I gotten plastered and blacked out? No, a few drinks here and there can't be too big of a deal as long as you don't abuse that "power" and do something stupid because of it. If that makes any sense at all.

Actually, I think that its not very smart at all. But I think if the teen is responsible enough their parents should let them try a small glass of wine on their 16th birthday. going to parties and drinking isn't good though. In my opinion, its ok if the parents let the teen have a little sip of their wine is fine but that's it. Don't drink at parties or anywhere else. Its your choice no matter what.
