Mistake number 8,000,000,000 (equal to our debt) for the U.S. Electing Obama as President again for 4 MORE years, I think we've had enough with the dropping of unemployment and stupidity of Americans.

How about we all agree that some of you honestly don't know what you're talking about. Can a president really change our nation in four years? Probably not. We all have different opinions on presidents, no need worth arguing about.

Hey, hey. Geuss what? Obama said he would end the Iraqi war. Did he? Nopers. What HAS he done, then? Put us in a hell of a lotta debt, that's what.

actually, george w bush put us in debt. he was given a surplus after the clinton presidency &then when he left office we were left with the biggest debt &financial crisis possible. and the plan romney is proposing is the same plan bush used wish cleeeeearly didnt work. also obama couldnt get a lot done only bc the republicans in congress wer being bipartisan &uncooperative

hermione23katniss · 1 decade ago
you can't end an entire war in four years. He said he would pull troops out of iraq and afghanistan and though he didn't pull all out, he pulled most. If he removed all US troops from the middle east then there would be an uprising and civil war which would eventually turn into a world war. It's not his fault that George Bush left America in such a horrid state.

You try ending it in only four years, then.

I'm no president. But, what I'm saying is you should only advertise what you're gonna go if you're ACTUALL gonna do it. Or else, it is false advertising.

LOLOL you think romney's gonna do half the s*hit he says he will? At least Obama tried, u try doing all that s*it in four years. yeah and you're sitting on your computer, at home, arguing with a bunch of teenagers, while Obama's running to be president.

He's TRYING to do what he promised. Do you realize he's tried to pass lots of things that congress won't allow? It isn't strictly up to him, it's up to congress too.

If you looked at what Obama wants to do with our country in the next 4 years... It is what he was supposed to do last year. So no Obama is not the best option. He put us in alot of debt and he says he is going to fix our country? Please he screwed it up bad enough we dont need him AGAIN.
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

Actually George Bush screwd up America. Obama was unfortunately given this mess to clean up. And Obama may not have fixed much but Romney will just mess more things up.

In 2008, Obama said that within a year the economy would start to show improvement, and if by 2012 things hadn't improved enough he didn't deserve a second term.
It's 2012 and the only thing that has changed is we are trillions of dollars poorer.
Imagine how poor we'll be after another 4 years of this.
So how will we get these trillions of dollars back?
I don't think you guys realize that by the time all of us are adults, WE will have to pay all this money back by paying high taxes, expensive gas, food, electricity, and more.

Those trillions of dollars we don't have? Yeah guess who that's going to impact? Us. Our kids. Our grandkids. They call it stealing from future generations so living in the present is more tolerable. The 15+ trillion dollars we have in debt? It was less than a trillion when Regan took office. While it may not have been 'his mess' Obama sure didn't do a hell of a lot to try and fix it. Do you realize that?

Passed Health Care Reform, passed the stimulus, passed wall street reform, ended the war in Iraq, ordered all US military forces out of Iran, the last troops left in December of last year. He began the drawdown of war in Afghanistan, he eliminated Osama Bin Laden, he completed a 180 degree turnaround with the US auto industry, he recapitalized banks, reversed Bush torture policies, improved America's overall image abroad with new policies, diplomacy, and rhetoric. Kicked banks out of the federal student loan program, Boosted fuel efficiency standards, coordinated international response to financial crisis, increased support for veterans, and tightened sanctions on Iran, do I need to continue?
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

converse97 · 1 decade ago
With all due respect, he didn't really end the war in Iraq. What most people don't know is that Obama tried to negotiate with Iraq to let us stay longer, but they refused, so he had no choice other than to pull out the troops. But naturally, the media doesn't tell us that. Maybe once you all become adults and have to financially support your family, you'll change your mind. Right now we don't have to pay taxes or gas prices or the grocery bill or the electric bill, so it's difficult for many of you to see the problem with us being trillions of dollars in debt.

hermione23katniss · 1 decade ago
My point is that how is Romney going to help with all of this? I feel like the last thing this economy needs is another bush
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

converse97 · 1 decade ago
Well just because he's a Republican, doesn't mean he's exactly like Bush. I feel like our biggest problem right now is the economy, and Romney has experience in business and knows how to make money, which is what we need more than anything right now. So whether people like him or not, I personally think he's the best choice right now.
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

Firelight · 1 decade ago
No, no need to continue. But you obviously don't understand the meaning of debt and its affect on us. Sure those things you mentioned are nice for now, but in the long run, which will affect us the most, the money, or lack of it is the key point here. Barack Obama called George Bush "unpatriotic" for adding so much to the debt. Yet, Obama added more debt in 3 years and 2 months than Bush did in both terms. On the auto business? Obama is touting his interference on behalf of his union cronies at General Motors and Chevrolet as a big "success" The cost of that "success" for the taxpayers? 25 billion dollars. Obama's stimulus plan cost more than the Marshall Plan, the Louisiana Purchase, and putting a man on the moon - combined and it was a complete and utter failure - more than 800 billion dollars that accomplished nothing of significance.

Hey, you know what? I have a few confessions. A.) I'm tired and have a bazillion test tomorrow so I should probably sleep B.) I like you. You're stubborn and persistent. Reminds me of...me. So I propose a truce. Friends? Acquaintances?
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

Firelight · 1 decade ago
I understand that. And I'm not saying I love Bush either (or that Obama's mess is entirely Bush's fault) But trillions of dollars is a bit excessive, don't you agree?
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

xHello · 1 decade ago
But it needed to be done. Idk if you have taken Economics, but's a called a demographic shift in the economy, when we are at our rock bottom the only way we can go is up. And that's where we are headed, and Obama knows how to do it, would you rather have a president who is in his first term and doesn't have experience, I'd rather have Obama, someone who has already done a term, and knows how to handle things, and will bring the economy back up. The only way we can go is up, and Obama is the right person for the job out of the two of them.
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

Firelight · 1 decade ago
A.) Look at how well Obama did his first term B.) We've hit rock bottom before without spending trillion

Four years is enough to screw America.
Someone could write a book about everything Obama has done wrong and what things he plans to do in the future to screw us more.
Oh wait...
THEY HAVE.

hermione23katniss · 1 decade ago
What exactly has Obama done wrong? I'm not one for politics but he may not have changed America very much but he hasn't ruined it....
thumbs up 0 thumbs down reply

Firelight · 1 decade ago
Before you go praising Obama you should do some research. He put the U.S. in more debt that all the other presidents combined. He told the Russian president that if he gets re-elected he'll have 'more flexibility'. He is a socialist, which means that is YOU make a lot of money, he'll take it and give it to someone who isn't working as hard but 'still deserves' what hardworking citizens get. And Obamacare? Guess where the money for that comes from? Oh right, people who pay taxes and actually work. A famous quote that I love is 'You can't help the poor by destroying the rich.' Maybe someone should tell that to the majority of the Democrats

K seriously you need to calm the f/ck down. Start your own quote and have a raging politics war. My point is that people expect a lot from presidents in general and you can't see significant change in only 4 years. calm the fuckkk downnnn!!! lol and i can see that you are a major conservative. Republicans have a tendency to bash on other people's views. I'm not hating on you it's just you need calm down it's a d/mn quote.
