All these countries should just mind their own buisness. There is no need for another world war.

Nobody is going to bomb anybody. It's basically a fight between 2 white males. All they do is talk about what they're going to do and make threats. Nobody will do anything because then we'll all be f/cked in the .

I get that what is going on in Syria is terrible and all but I don't see why the UK and US have to get involved! Me and my friend Amy were joking a few months ago that if a world war ever happened that we'd just be peeved about losing wifi but I'm actually really scared - we both live in a fairly large english city so if anything happened, chances are that here, along with London would probably be one of the first few places to get bombed....

Obama never bombed Syria.

But, you do know what's going on in Syria, right? Like, do you keep up with current affairs?

I don't think the U.S should get involved. If we bomb Syria than Syria or its allies are going to retaliate, creating a war that we don't need

Where I agree with BeautyFromTheInside for disliking world wars, we need to get the facts straight. The war between the rebels and the government has been going on since March of 2011, meaning there have been plenty of innocent people and children being killed. In April, it was declared that the average deaths in Syria was 3,043 per month. And in June the UN estimated the death toll has surpassed 100,000. Although I do feel something has to be done about this, I believe it could be very risky for USA, UK, and France, and possibly the rest of the world, to take military action against Syria. But I am sure of one thing that soldiers are not cowards, they fight for their country and are brave enough to face something as terrible as war. Although I do not believe war is a good thing, it's good that there are people willing to fight for us and keep us safe.

The Syrian regime has killed over 100,000 people, displaced over 4 million people, and has broken international laws such as using chemical weapons.

I completely disagree with "world wars". What right have UK and USA and France got to invade someone else's country? They're killing innocent people, innocent children. People from Syria do not come over to the UK or America or France and say, "Hey, let's kill all your kids and bomb all your schools and steal all your oil and rob all your gold." So why is Obama and Cameron allowing our people, our "brave soldiers" to go over there and do it to them? Innocent people. INNOCENT CHILDREN.
I will not accept that our soldiers are brave because a brave person does not go to someone else's country, bomb their kids, ruin their lives, and ruin their country.
It's not acceptable.
It's wrong.
Soldiers are cowards, complete cowards. They are devoid of compassion and they can burn in Hell.

Are you an American? you know what, I'm going to guess and say you're an American, because I don't know much about soldiers from other countries.
Anyway, my point of that is, as Americans, our soldiers protect our amendments, one of which is freedom of speech. Without soldiers, you wouldn't have the right to say what you said. I respect your opinion, but disagree with it whole-heartedly.

It is not the west's fault for what is going on in Syria. They do not want to bomb innocent people. Read this and understand how serious it is in Syria.

Sorry but I'm not reading anything about the war. I do not agree with it and I will not accept anything else.
I know how serious it is in Syria. I've lived through it, thanks.

Oh? So my mom, dad, uncles, aunt, grandfathers, and family friends are all cowards? The military does what they're ordered to do, not what they feel is best to do. Following orders does not make them cowards, it's doing their jobs.
Soldiers have no choice in where they're sent or what they're ordered to do. The fact that you are unable to realize that is sad.
No, it is not technically the USA's business what is going on in Syria. However, the Syrian regime has broken international laws which does make it our business and the business of other countries due to the fact that it is illegal all over the world, not just in certain countries. And you seem to be forgetting the fact that the Syrian regime has killed 100,000 people. 4 million have been displaced because of the regime.
The intention of a strike isn't to "steal oil", "rob them of gold", or "kill kids". The intention would to end the corrupt ruling of a country--a country that has killed hundreds of thousands of it's own citizens.
Now, which is more wrong--killing hundreds of thousands, displacing 4 million, and breaking international laws or trying to put an end to that?

Nothing personal.
Soldiers have a choice. They aren't ripped away from their family and FORCED into the war. It's a choice.
Whether they broke a law or not, I don't get why people think it's such a huge deal. Don't you people realise that it's their damn country? Don't you realise it's about control? The government need to focus on what a hell hole USA and UK are, yet they're surprised and disgusted at nuclear bombs in Syria. WTF. THEY ARE THE ONES BREAKING INTO SOMEONE ELSES COUNTRY. DONT AGREE WITH SYRIA'S LAWS? FIGHTING FOR PEACE IS LKE F--CKING FOR VIRGINITY.
They will never be at peace.
It doesn't make it "our" business at all.
Youre just another person who the Goverment controls.
I am too, but at least I'm damn well aware of it..
Syria is Syria.
USA is USA.
America is throwing around insults about how f---cked up Syria is.
Look at your own country, then try throwing stones, no pun intended.

Okay, remember how somewhere up there I said I respected your opinion? Yeah, I still do. What I don't respect is the way you presented it. "Surprised by nuclear warfare" It's chemical bombing of innocent children. I agree that it isn't our place to step in and start war, but it's not nothing, either. Chemical warfare isn't something that's ever expected. It was considered too harsh in World War 1!

whereismymind · 1 decade ago
Exactly! Every time there is mass murders in the U.S what country is coming to help US? That's the thing about America, we always try to "fix" other countries. If the Syrian government wants to kill its own people, let them! I don't get why we have to get involved whenever another country has a problem.
