Chapter 7
Andreas P.O.V

New York was amazing, we stayed there for 4 days. We had some family who had moved to New York and they kept me very entertained. Vegas was great and was truly the city that never sleeps. I had heaps of fun and met a group of people who I hanged out with for the 4 days I was there. That left 6 days to be in LA. My mum and dads relationship seemed to be getting better, better then it was in Australia. We arrived in LA at three in the afternoon and went to our hotel.
“Mum, dad I'm going out to... explore!” I told them.
“Be careful!” my dad told me.
“Always,” I replied.
“Don't come home later then 10, okay?” my mum said.
“Alright, bye.” I walked around and found myself at an ice-cream shop. These people all had wicked American accents. I ordered some chocolate ice-cream and sat down. A guy, probably a few years younger then me came and sat down. He had dark brown, almost black hair and brown eyes.
“Hey gorgeous,” he winked and I laughed.
“How old are you, kid?” I asked, purposely adding the 'kid' bit.
“Hey! I'm not a kid, I'm 15!” he cried out, clearly offended.
“No need to get so touchy,” I teased.
“I'm James,” he told me. “And what's your name, beautiful?”
“Andi,” I told him.
“Is your dad an art thief?” he asked me, smiling. I was about to say 'no' but he said, “Because you're a masterpiece.” I rolled my eyes.
“Please don't use that on any other girl. I'm nice, so I won't slap you but any other girl probably will,” I told him. James huffed.
“I just wanted a girlfriend,” he pouted. I ruffled his hair.
“And that girl is not me.”
“James! James, why are you bothering this girl?” A gorgeous girl wearing a pair of sunglasses sighed.
“Relax, sis,” James said.
“I am so sorry about him... he doesn't understand that not every girl wants him.” The girl smiled at me and that smile looked oddly familiar.
“It's fine,” I dismissed.
“I haven't seen you around here before, are you new?” she asked.
“I'm just here for a holiday, I'm Australian.”
“That is why you have that accent! It is amazing by the way.” She took her sunglasses off, smiling at me. No... she couldn't be.
“Thanks,” I murmured. I didn't want to believe that she was who I thought she was but the sentence she said next said other whys.
“I'm Rose Sterve, by the way.”
