"God only gives His toughest battles to His toughest soldiers"
I don't live with my birth parnets.
My brother and sister killed them selves.
I battle cancer. It's still here. Just in-active.
I go through hate because i'm a guy.
My best-friend is over dosing on pills.
I'm forced to go to a scrit school.
I wake up every morining not knowing if it's my last.
Hoping my life will just end.
But I know God is keeping me here.
He has big plans for me.
I want to know what those plans are.
    I don't want to wait.
    I used to cut.
I used to over dosing on pills.
I used to keep a rope in my closet just in case.
I used to cry my self to sleep.
    God saved me.
    This website helped.
    Don't hate me cause I'm a guy.
Hate me because I did something mean to you.
I've never called anyone any names.
    I've never teased anyone.
So why do I have such a rough life?

    Prologue
I sat next to my mother on the bench in the vacant subway station as we waited for our subway to arrive. We had just got done with a charity event and were on our way home to pack for our vacation to the Caribbean with my dad the next day. It was a late Saturday night in upstate New York, everyone was home in their luxurious houses.
“Hey mom, how long do you think the plane ride is going to be?” I asked curiously.
“Trust me honey, it’s going to be very long. Don’t worry though you’ll sleep most of the ri-“
“MOM WATCH OUT!” I screeched stopping her in mid-sentence. Inches away from my Mother’s back was a huge, dark, horrifying looking man, holding a gun to my mother’s head.
“DROP YOUR PURSE. NOW” The man said, his voice echoing through the subway station.
In complete shock, the purse fell out of her hands and hit the floor. The man snatched up the purse and made a break for the stairs as his getaway.
“SOMEBODY HELP US!” My Mother screeched in desperation.
The man froze on the stairs. He turned on his heal and looked straight at my mom.
“Stand behind me Charlotte. Now.” She whispered to me.
I tried to hide behind my mother and prepare myself for what was about to happen. I closed my eyes in fear. The next thing I heard was an ear piercing bang that erupted from the stairs of the subway station. I opened my eyes to see my mother on the floor surrounded by a pool of her own blood. The gunman was nowhere to be seen.
I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I was all alone in an empty subway station with my mom lying there dead on the floor. I felt so vulnerable, so weak. My knees hit to the floor next to my mother as hot tears started to stream down my face. All the memories of my mom started to flood back to me of all the great times we had together. All the "I love you's" all of the fun times together, now gone. My tears started to turn into loud sobs and cries for help from anyone in hearing distance. But no one was there.
    No one at all.
Nothing says drama like a murder to start of a book! Woohooo! I've decided to use the story Snow White and make it modern with alot of deep twists. If you would like a summary of the original story of snow white to refresh your memory go here:

    Girls Like me .
    Chapter 16.
I woke up the next morning in the same clothes I had been in last night. It seemed too late to shower when I had gotten home.
I slowly got out of bed, testing how it felt to put weight on my foot. Today was supposed to be the day I got rid of my crutches. My mom had already helped me take the stitches out a few days ago.
I let out a sigh of relief, feeling only a little pain when I stepped out of bed. I then threw my crutches to the ground, heading over to my bathroom to take a shower.
I let the refreshing warm water rinse through my somewhat greasy hair, from not being washed in a day. It felt good to be clean again. I put on a pair of denim shorts and a loose pink halter top.
I hadn’t really made any plans yet, but I’m sure I could think of something that would totally screw with Jake’s emotions. After getting dressed, I ran the blow dryer through my hair, letting it keep it’s natural wave, instead of straightening it.
“Bree! You have a visitor!” My mom shouted up the steps.
“Uh, okay! Send them up!” I said confused, wondering who would come here without giving me any heads up.
I finished up my makeup, waiting for the anonymous visitor to make it up to my room.
“Hey Bree.” Jake smiled, opening up the door to my bedroom.
“Uh, hi Jake.” I smiled, shocked at the fact that he would just show up. “W-what are you doing here?”
“Well, I just thought that I’d see if you wanted to do something today? You know because of that kiss, and all..”
“Oh, yeah yeah, right.” I said, jogging my memory. Clearly I hadn’t forgotten about it, but I knew that it hurt Jake to know that I hadn’t been thinking about it like he had been.
“We don’t have to if you don’t want to, I just thou-“
“No, of course I want to.” I smiled sweetly, grabbing my satchel. “So, where are we going?”
“Well, I was thinking the movies?” Jake asked, showing me 2 movie tickets, as we headed out to his car.
“Sure.” I said calmly, sliding open my phone, preparing to send a message.
“Who could you possibly be texting?” Jake laughed, opening my car door for me.
“Oh, you know, just Jaycie and Zoe.” I lied, scrolling through my contact list.
“You’re still talking to Zoe after last night?” Jake gave me a questioning look.
I nodded, too involved in the message I was sending to form words.
“Hey! I’m back in town.(: Movie in 20 minutes?” I typed, then clicked the send button on my phone.
I smiled deviously to myself, crossing my arms.
    Little did Jake know,
this would be more than a movie for two.
boring chapter..sorrry. Next one will be better (: Fireworks tonight, so excited♥ Happy 3rd of July everyone ( : haha. Character link is up on my profile, for those of you who were wondering. I love you all, thanks for reading. ♥
