My speech on bullying;
(which I will be presenting to my whole school)
Hi everyone! You probably know who I am.. But if not - I'm Nicole. Yep, I attend school here! Ok, so.. today - I'm here in front of everyone to discuss a topic that has changed mine - and many others lives... BULLYING. I started to get bullied around the age of 12 when a girl called me ugly. I didn't know how I was ugly but I assumed I was fat. Soo, I starting skipping meals every once in a while. Little did I know, it would soon turn in to bulimia, anorexia, and self harm. You see, because of just a few words - my life would never be the same. I don't want ANY of you to go through what I'm going through. Because let me tell you.. It is not fun AT ALL.  Now - I heard something that I'm going to share with you; Suicide rates among 10 to 14 year olds have grown more than 50% over the last 3 decades. Yeah - 3 decades is a long time, but more than 50%? Seriously, guys? That's not right. We could help make that 50% go down to 0%. How? Don't bully.  If you see someone being bullied - take a stand. It will make you and the victim feel a whole lot better. And, if you're being bullied.. Tell someone! Get help, okay? We need to take control and put an end to all bullying. Yeah, it may take some time, but if we work together and work really hard - it. will. happen.  Oh.. and if you self harm or just need someone to talk to - you can talk to me. I'll always listen. ALWAYS.  Guys, you're worth every penny. You're here for a reason and you are not leaving until you find that reason. Yes, I understand times are hard. We're in a dark tunnel, but there's light somewhere. And we will find that light together. I may not show it but I love you guys. Each and every one of you.  Please, let's stop bullying. Stop it once and for all. We can't just ignore it, right? Okay, don't hesitate to talk to me! I'm all ears all the time! Thank you all for letting me talk to you. And - one more thing..

I'm loving the ending &I believe you are being incredibly brave staying this speech to your school(: but I think you should make the speech longer &talk about the seriousness &how sad it truley is not just that everyone is worth it in stuff like that ! Hope I helped, good luck<333

I love the ending! Hahaha(: it's adorable but try and make the beginning just a little bit more formal, not too much. it can still be light and happy before you go into the heavy stuff. That's really all I have to say! The rest of it was amazing and I'm sure you'll do great(:

I just got chills reading this. That is amazing and i hope lots of people find their light. That will change lives.
It's really stupid, to be honest, that making someone else go to theese extremes, can make someone else so happy. Think before you speak.
Good luck, don't be nervous, there's absolutely no need with a spech like this. :)

Its super super good but 1 thing: you mentioned how rates of suicide are more than 50% now and if you stop bullying it will go to 0%, I just wanted to say that you should word that alittlw diffrently because bullying isn't the only cause of suicide, and there still will be people who commit suicide if bullying is stoped for different reasons. Just a comment:) everything else is super good though!!

This is so beautiful. you're so inspiring. I'm so proud of you for doing this and i dont even know you. You're so amazing and beautiful. And brave too, i wouldnt be able to stand up and do this without getting bullied after for having a say in it. JUSTKEEPSWIMMING.<3

I like your message, but your language makes you sound casual, like you don't really know what you are trying to say. Words like "okay", "oh", "yeah "and "so" may be perceived as space fillers by your audience. Space fillers will make it sound like you are making up your speech on the spot rather than conveying coherent thoughts.
Sorry if that sounded mean, but I want people to know what you want to tell them. I read your other quote about what happened at the talent show and I think you are so brave for standing up the bully in front of so many people! It sucks that you got detention, but you are making a difference by being yourself, and I am glad that you want others to do the same. Keep going, you have a lot to say and you should share those thoughts with the world :)

I get where you're coming from, but I personally think that using those words makes it sound like she's directly talking to people and being herself, instead of actually acting like she's JUST saying a speech. I think it makes it a bit easier to listen to and relate, but that's just my opinion :)
