Okay Guys,
So as you may know, Friday, April 6th, 2013 is a very special day for us.
Is it somebody's birthday, you ask?
No, not really. More of an anniversary.
The 10th anniversary of Witty Profiles, actually.
Can you guys believe it?
I only joined last year, but I'm proud to be here.
So on the 6th, whaddaya guys say we throw Wittyprofiles.com
A birthday party?
Here's what I'm thinking:
Everyone will log on as often as they can on that day, and post as many quotes as they can,
and write messages to Steve,
and write the Witty Profiles logo on everything we can, including ourselves,
and change our Facebook, Tumblr, etc. profile pics to the Witty logo,
and tell people we know about Witty.
We have the power to make this happen.

One year ago today...
I remember exactly where I was. I was in my bedroom, sprawled out across my bed. My room was arranged differently, but I still remember it perfectly. I decided I was going to write a short story. I had before tried (and failed miserably) at getting big on Witty with my stories on a different account. I created an account with the alias xxHelloLovelyxx.
At 7:22 pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2012, I posted the first chapter of 'Blue-Eyed Beauty.' I made a comment at the bottom that said, "I'll continue posting if this gets more than 10 faves" because I'd never gotten more than 4 on a story. The first chapter got 87 favorites over the course of the night.
I was so excited, I wouldn't put my laptop down. I didn't eat dinner that night. I was sitting in the family room that night with my dad and brother and I think there was a sport on the television but I'm not sure. My dad insisted I ate the chicken strips he made for me, so I took a plate, but I never actually ate them.
I was so excited I wrote the next chapter the same night, and posted it as well.
I got home to find I had over 100 followers, all gained from just two chapters of a story.
Over the course of the year on Witty, I'd posted 8 stories: Down This Road, Dreams of Zachary, Favorite Mistake, Firefly, Hold on to Him, and finally, in his arms. I have 1,349 beautiful followers (most of which are dormant by now) and, through this account, I've made some wonderful best friends: Elizabeth (thesweetestmoments), Eli (Eli22b), Joe (JoeBro, no longer active) and so many more it would take me forever to name. But you guys were here, you gave me confidence. And my life has changed so much since that Wednesday as a little freshmen in my bedroom with an idea and some sort of luck, and it makes me sad thinking about how much time has changed. I don't know, I just thought I should mark the anniversary somehow, so here it is.

And then there's you; you're so red and pink, so healthy compared to me. It wasn't until much later, that I discovered you too, have damaged organs. Two years ago today, I found this website.
And today I was thinking, 'what quote should I make to mark that?'
Because there's a lot I want to say.
Like how I could vent without having to explain or defend myself. Like how I met so many brilliant, wonderful, original, beautiful people that I wouldn't have had the chance to speak to otherwise. How I found the skills to pass my computing exam in school, just by learning how to make quotes. How I found my voice. How I inspired myself after a long hard day of worldsuck.
Over the years, Witty has changed a lot.
It's no longer just a website of funny sayings. It's no longer a website where people just complain.
I guess you could say Witty changed me a bit.
I'm still as dorky as ever, but I'm also cool with it. I'm still struggling with issues, but knowing that I'm not alone does help.
It's like this big jumble of wibblywobblytimeywimey awesomestuff to me now. I've gone through the Witty stages; of not making quotes, of obsessively faving quotes, to obsessively making quotes with bad layouts, to following everyone, to following no-one, to following whoever I want to, to not caring about the numbers and just writing.
And I'm pretty proud of the quotes I make.
I'm proud that I've talked seven people out of suicide. I'm proud that I've made someone's day with a friendly comment. I'm proud of layouts that I worked on, or series that I've continued. I'm happy.
So anyway, I just wanted to say thanks, Witty...
for two years today.♥

But Witty has always been there for me
And I thank you
I thank all of you
I love writing my feelings
I love reading other people's quote
Joining Witty was one of the best decisions ever
throughout my 4 years
There has been lots of changes

Apparently today is my witty anniversary (for this account, anyway.) I don't know, it seems quote-worthy. Witty, you da bomb. stay fresh. I first found witty in, like, 2009by googling tv show quotes or something,and years later I'm still here. I am the herpesof Witty. sorry 'bout it.

I just looked at the date, aaaand guess what today is?
My one-year anniversary on witty!!
I can't believe it's only been a year.
