My name is Lindsay and I'm a junior in high school, I'll be 17 in March.
I don't know if anyone still gets on this website, but when I was in middle school in 2011-2012,
witty profiles was booming with 800+ likes on the "top posts".
I remember getting on everyday, longing to have a top post, getting excited when i got likes.
It seems to have died down now.
I just remembered my password and logged in to read through my old middle school posts.
The things i read today, brought back so many memories.
The things that i felt were tragic and posted about back then seem ridiculous now.
Things from One Direction guys turning 18, to my crush not liking me.
I found a post saying how much I "loved" a boy that i was crushing on...
Today this seems hilarious, at age 13-14 I had zero knowledge of the meaning of love.
In recent years, I have experienced many crushes, but this year 2014, I fell for a guy who loved me back.
Or so i thought.
He was bad for me, but I was too oblivious to see it.
He took my virginity, turned me against friends, encouraged me to try bad things and sneak around with him.... even got me pregnant which ended in miscarriage.
we broke up.
I still dont quite understand the meaning of love, im only 16.
But compared to what I wrote about in middle school, I have experienced a whole different world of relationships.
My eyes have been opened to the realities of the world.
I have struggled with depression, self harm. etc...
And its sad because things used to be so different.
My posts on wittyprofiles bak then were innocent.
Reading through them makes me wish i had held onto that childhood innocence.
Im so grateful for this website, and I dont know if anone will even read this, let alone anyone whom I used to have contact with on here.
But, this is me. and this is how the world has changed outside this website.
I miss it.

Honestly, for some reason I loved this. It's so true. Like I love it, not in the mean way of course but for real.
