did they seriously get only 1 year in prison?? my friend goes to stuebenville high and she told me she knew the girl. pretty disturbing really..... but the case isn't settled yet and i think they might be going to jail till they're 21

Ugh, what happened in Ohio was so unfair! >:/ How can people actually feel SORRY for the 2 boys?! So the girl shouldn't have done what she did. It hapens everyday. But you don't go and ra/pe someone. EVER. That makes me so angry, I totally agree with you.

I think the reason they only got a year was because she was intially drunk , she was known for lying ,and i think they were minors?Or at least one of them was.

Her being drunk and know for lying shouldn't matter. Nothing excuses r@pe. Those boys VIDEOED what happened - she's obviously not lying about it. She had been drinking? So what? Girls drink all the d*mn time, should they all be r@ped?

No . Not what i'm saying .I'm saying that was their defense wether it was morally correct or not is inevitible .The whole situation was wrong i'm not denying that .Just saying that it might of been the cause of why they did not get a longer sentence .

I figured you weren't actually on their side, but I've just heard everyone give that same "But she was drunk!" "She's know for being a liar!" cr@p and it's ridiculous. Ugh. Their defense is dumb, cause there is no defending what they did.

See , the whole she was drunk , liar ,she's a wh.re thing would all make sense ,If there wasn't a video .If there wasn't visible proof there might have actually been a debatable case .However , they were idiotic enough to put it on the internet therefore any chance they had in that case was gone . Not that they deserved a chance anyway .Even once would have been terrible , but from party to party to party is just .I have no words for how wrong that is .
