I understand why some people are saying you shouldn't have him choose over you or his girlfriend, but he also shouldn't have ditched you without saying something. Just because he has a girlfriend he can't forget about you, he has to make time in his life for both of you or he's going to lose a friend. You can't force him to spend time with both of you though. I know the feeling, honey, and it sucks, I know. I think there was once difference though, I was like in love with the boy and I still am... He ditched me for all these girls who liked him and I was so mad I didn't talk to anyone the entire day and wanted to punch anyone who tried to get me to talk in the face. He apologized when my best friend told him why I was upset and he spent more time with me. We're still best friends to this day, and I am still crushing on him. :C

In conclusion, children, he has to choose whether or not he is going to be fair about the time he spends with both of you.

They're kind of right. You shouldn't make him pick, but he should find time for both of you. You were there when he didn't have her, and he can't just throw you away like that. He has to make time for the both of you in his life, or someone is going to get hurt and leave.

You shouldn't have made him chose between you or his girlfriend. He most likely had time in his life for both of you. You could have said "I really didn't like it how you stood me up today at lunch. Next time, please warn me in advance, alright?" in a peaceful manner.

Personally I think you pressured him to much because your asking him to shoes between his girlfriend or you.You should just've talked it over with him that he needs time for both of you guy plus he only missed out once a lot of new couples are in a stage where there is nobody but them.

If he choses some sluut over his best friend then he doesn't deserve to have you as his best friend. And friends are suppose to be forever whereas girlfriends don't always last. In the end, when they're over, don't let him back into your life. Friends come first, alwaysZ
