Andreas P.O.V

I stared at her, great! What was I supposed to say? I'm Andi Jones and I have a huge crush on your boyfriend! Oh and I stalked you! Yeah, I don't think that would be what she wanted to hear. “I'm Andi Jones,” I replied trying to keep my emotions to myself.
“Andi? Is that short for anything?” Rose asked.
“Yup,” I said popping the 'P'. “It's short for Andrea.”
“You've got a really pretty name,” she flashed me a grin.
“Thanks.”
“What part of Australia are you from?”
“New South Wales,” I replied. What could I ask her? Is your boyfriend a good kisser?
“I visited there some time last year. The beaches are amazing.” I smiled at her. Why wasn't she a b/tch?! In all the romance novels I've read, the girlfriend of the guy is always a sl/t and a b/tch. So, why is it that Rose is so perfect? So nice?
“Andi, do you have a boyfriend?” Rose questioned.
“No... Do you?” I knew the answer would be yes but I asked it anyway. She grinned when I asked her that.
“Yes, the most romantic, handsome guy you'll ever meet! He is my everything,” she looked afar, dreamingly.
“How did you meet?” I asked. This was my chance to find out more about Rose and Jesses relationship.
“We had been going to school together since the 9^th grade and he just randomly asked me out last year. I had liked him for forever, of course. I love him,” she told me.
“Have you told him?” I asked.
“Told him what?” Rose furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.
“That you love him.”
“Yes,” she grinned. “He was the first one to say it, a few months ago.”
“That's great Rose, you're lucky.”
“I am.”
“So...” my voice trailed off.
“I'm having this party at my place tonight and was wondering if you'd like to come?” she chirped. “Everybody would love you!”
“Uh... I don't know.” If I went, I'd see Jesse.
“It'll be fun, really fun! Like you could meet my boyfriends best friend, who is single. His name is Ryan and he's a cutie! I'm sure you guys will hit it off!” Defiantly no, now. “Please?” Rose pouted.
“I don't know.”
“It will be so much fun and you can meet new people!” she told me.
“Okay,” I said.
“What?”
“Okay, I'll go to the party.”
Inside, I knew the only reason I was going was so I could win over Jesse.
