There are LOADS that don't lose it, and also... Guys in the comments, no we are not rained to sing without it -_- Well some people might be, but not everyone. We naturally loose our accents when we sing, same for Americans.

Some do, some don't.
But tbh it's the same with any singer, doesn't matter where they are from

I'm pretty sure that proffesional singers do get trained to sing without it, and that goes for any accent... Like Taylor Swift for example. You can hear her losing her Southern accent as you listen to her older albums to her newer albums. You can rarely hear it at all on Speak Now, but on her first album you can definitely tell...

We Don't get trained to sing with out our accents... lol no it just depends on the style of the voice and you can always tell the difference between american and english accents whilst singing

I live in London(: And whenever we (Me and my friends) are singing together; If there is a more harmonic tune, we tend to still keep the accent, but if there are just catchy lyrics, it doesn't sound the same :\

Lily Allen doesnt loose her accent, that's why I love her so much! But she has lots of curses in her songs so my mom doesn't let me listen to them... Hello YouTube...
