That is no longer true, it may have been true decades ago, but majority is not anymore. Procedures have advanced greatly in the past decades or so, babies get tagged immediately after they are born. I'm not saying babies no longer get switched by careless nurses, but the chances of mistakes have decreased incredibly.

no that doesnt happen.... sorry but they run reallly tight security because two girls were actually switched at birth so their reallly careful, sorry just wanted to say this....

But usually they're returned to their real parents in a period of a few days or so. Also, this mainly happens only in crowded hospitals, in places such as Chicago, New York, etc. :) I'm such a nerd, it's not even funny.

My mom stayed with me in the room the whole time and didn't sleep for 2 days, plus I look identical to her. Lol nothing to worry about for me. But this is soo sad
