I'm not the person to start fighting on Witty, but remember when Witty Top Quotes got 1000 likes? Those were the quotes that meant something. I totally respect your opinion, because people use Witty for different reasons. And you shared your opinion and I said mine ^_*

Jesus thank you for saying this because I'd read quotes like that and think well why are you saying stuff like that and disagreeing when people try to cheer you up? It's pretty much asking for attention... but then if I said something like that people would yell at me for being so heartless or whatever.

What annoys me the most is when the person who posts the quote refuses all help given to them by the commenters. Like, that person actually cares enough to comment; you could at least give their advice some consideration aside from just arguing!

Back in the day, when the top quotes got over 1000 likes, the quotes were almost always about things like that, but they were more elaborate than just, "I'm fat" and stuff like that. I mean, the things about feeling sad, feeling lonely, not fitting in and being insecure are the things that people can relate most to. And that's what I miss seeing here. I like see things that I can relate to. Not what I'm seeing now.

I thoroughly enjoyed witty when I first joined. For like, the first year. Then the whole "one direction" thing happened and I feel like it just all went downhill after that. This used to be my favorite place. The quotes were so inspiring and beautiful. I wish that had never ended.

I stuck out the 1D thing. I hated it, but I stuck it out. I left for about 2 months and when I logged back on last week it was just like...oh my gosh what happened to this place? I thought it was bad before but it just feels like it just keeps going further and further downhill every day.
