Meh, I think girls adopted the word curvy to replace "chubby." So now every girl that isn't skinny says she's "curvy." But really curvy doesn't necessarily mean not skinny. You can be thick and curvy or thick and not curvy or thin and curvy or thin and not curvy.

Actually, I can't stand most girls who are skinny like that. It creeps the sh/t out of me. I'd rather date someone who is as you say "curvier". Even though I don't see much a difference in weight with people

This actually really pis/ses me off. Not all guys are the same. You are basically saying that ALL guys are insensitive bas/tards who only like skinny girls, which it TOTALLY NOT the case!

No. Curvy is when your figure goes in and out smoothly in various places (waist, hips, even shoulders!). You can be skinny but curvy, or curvy without a totally flat stomach (like me). It generally means big bo/obs and wide hips but not always. Plus size girls like to say they are curvy but mostly they are apple shaped, not hourglass, which is not a bad thing but is generally considered less appealing unfortunately in our society where perfection is a requirement.
Most guys like curves, but the sl/uts they are likely to choose in their teens are skinny and not curvy. When guys get older they begin to appreciate body shapes more in general, and some may prefer apple, boyish, petite, hourglass etc instead of just skinny.
Sorry for the lecture but this confuses a lot of people :P

Guys actually like curves? They like girls with hips. You can be 'curvy' and have skinny legs and arms and a flat tummy. They like the 'hourglass' figure if you will. You can be skinny And curvy. People misuse the word curvy for a plus sized girl. They're different.
