It's Those Little Things
Chapter Six

I laughed, “We’re going to London,” Paul said and Mouse’s face lit up.
“Yeah budday!” I said and the guys laughed.
We all got on the plane and the ride went rather smoothly. Of course I was stuck next to Niall who kept complaining that he was hungry but, other than that the ride was fine.
I guess I fell asleep at one point because I don’t remember an hour or so.

*NIALL’S POV*

When we ran into Maggie and Charlie at the airport I was overjoyed. I never thought I’d ever see them again when we had so much fun last night. I was already a bit attracted to Charlie from last night but when I saw her playing the guitar it was like… NIALL CAN I PLEASE HAVE YOUR ATTENTION! THIS IS OUR MIND AND HEART SPEAKING! YOU ARE NOW ATTRACTED TO CHARLOTTE HUDSON!
Yeah that’s what it was like. She ended up next to me on the plane which was a bit nerve racking. I’ve never really been good at talking to girls. Don’t screw this up Niall, don’t screw this up. Well I didn’t have the chance to screw it up either because she fell asleep about halfway through the ride. At first she was just sleeping, but she must’ve started dreaming or something because she tossed around a bit and her head ended up on my chest.
“Awww,” Louis said and I rolled my eyes. “Don’t roll your eyes at me you know you like her.”
“Yeah I guess I do,” I said looking at her, “I feel bad though, after learning what her dad did to her.”
“She has a bruise on her leg,” Zayn said, he was sitting next to Lou.
I looked down at her leg and there were multiple bruises there. Her sleeve was up a bit and I saw cuts on her wrists.
“Hey Maggie,” I said and her head turned.
“Yeah?” she responded.
“Does Charlie cut?” I asked.
“Not that I know of. I wouldn’t be surprised if she does though, with her life being the way it is,” she said.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Well her real parents put her up for adoption at eight. The people who adopted her are serious addicts and they don’t even live in a real house. It’s like a worn down shack. Charlie sleeps in the attic and most of the stuff she has my parents gave her. She’s real insecure too. Been like that ever since I met her,” Mouse said and my heart sank.
“Well I think she cuts,” I said, “there’s cuts all over her wrist and they don’t look very natural.”
“I’ll talk to her when she wakes up,” Maggie said and I nodded.
I feel really bad, I really like her and she’s gone through a lot.
