Chapter 10.
“Eww, that’s
gross!” I giggled, watching Jake pour raspberry syrup
on his chocolate ice cream.
“Oh come on.” He
smiled. “It’s really not that bad, you
should try it.”
“Oh let me think about it,
no.” I said sarcastically.
He rolled his eyes playfully,
shoving a huge spoon of ice cream in his
mouth.
“This is nice.” I
admitted, stirring my ice cream. “You know,
hanging out again.”
“I agree.” He
smiled. “I feel like I haven’t talked to
you in forever.”
“Yeah.” I slightly
laughed, smiling at him. His smile was so,
captivating. Addicting, even.
“Bree? Did you hear
me?”
“What?” I asked,
snapping back into reality.
“Do you want to go for a
walk?” He laughed at my attention
span.
“Sure.” I said calmly,
a little embarrassed.
I stood up slowly, balancing my
weight onto my crutches.
We made our way down towards the
beach, and began walking along the
shoreline.
“So, how was Maine?”
Jake ask hesitantly, shoving his hands into his
pockets.
“Good, I guess.” I
sighed. “Lots of new
friends.”
He nodded, understanding what I
meant.
“But why’d you
go?” He asked curiously.
I thought for a second, debating on
whether or not I should tell him the
truth.
“Well.” I
shrugged. “I guess I just needed to get
away.”
“From?”
“This town, my family,
an-“
“Me..” Jake
interrupted.
“Yeah.” I said
reluctantly. “Kind of.”
“I don’t know why I
acted like I did, Bree.” He admitted, stopping us
from walking. “I was stupid, and selfish, and
it was wrong to do what I did.”
I just looked at him, not saying
anything. I thought about saying it was my fault, but
honestly, it wasn’t. This was his turn to
apologize.
“Do you think you’ll
ever be able to forgive me?”
I then flashed back to all the
names he called me, the torture he put me through. No Jake,
I will never forgive you, I wanted to scream.
However, I forced a smile on the outside, because it was
too late in the game to change the plan.
“I forgive you.” I
smiled.
He eyes lit up, and I felt him
moving closer to me, pushing loose strands of hair away
from my face. Before I knew it, our lips
collided.
And strangely
enough?
I didn't want to pull
away.
Let the drama begin. (:

WOW, your storys are amazing and i cant believe u have only been writing for 5 months. I have been writing for a long time and mine arnt any where near as good as your. I barly get favours on any of them, could you maybe look at my story called Dignity and tell me what you think xx

hahahaha but i kinda thought it was weird that he asked her to go on a walk when she literally JUST injured her leg ..... js. but i still LOVE the series
