Chapter 13


I rolled over as the sun came shining through my room.
"Ughh." I groaned then I suddenly remembered where I was.
The next thing I knew, Mike was up next to me.
"Your hair looks like a haystack." He said smiling.
"Ouch." I said pretending to be hurt. "Hating on me first thing in the morning."
He laughed. "It's what you get for waking me up."
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Come on downstairs. Lets go make you food since your stomach kept me up all night." He smiled at me when I playfully punched his shoulder.
We walked downstairs were all this roommates were sitting.
"Hey guys. This is Belle. Belle, this is the guys." He said introducing me.
Everyone smiled and said hi. Some cracked jokes.
"Damn. You picked him over me?" One cute, blue eyed guy asked.
I smiled. "Childhood friends over random strangers."
We all talked and laughed over breakfast when we heard a phone ring.
I recognized the ring tone.
"Oh sh/t. Where's my phone?" I asked quickly.
Someone handed me my phone and I realized it was my mom.
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.
"Belle. You have to volunteer at a soup kitchen today. I pick out an outfit for you. Get home and get ready. I'll text you the address. I expect you to be there by noon." She hung up quickly after that.
"Ugh." I said coming into the kitchen.
"Your mom?" Mike asked smiling.
I nodded. "Yeah. Do you wanna give me a ride home?"
He nodded. "Sure. Let me go get your stuff. "
"Thanks." I said.
A little while later I was at my house taking a shower.
'Ugh.' I thought to myself staring at my hair. 'Mike was right, my hair is a mess.'
I tried getting through the tangle on the top of my head as best as I could.
When I was done I had my hair smoothed down into sleek, waves accross my face.
I slipped on the outfit my mom had left me which consisted of a gray tank and light skinny jeans. I put on a pair of white sandals.

I saw I was going to be late and ran to the car driving 5 minutes about the speed limit.
When I finally got there my mothers mouth was pressed into a thin line.
"Its about time. Get to the kitchen NOW." she barked at me.
I ran into the kitchen and started preparing the meals.
I ran around and did everything I could for almost 3 hours straight.
I sat in a chair and my mother walked up to me.
"Go home and get a good rest. We have your cousins graduation party tomorrow." My mother said to me sharply.
I looked at her in fury. "Use one sharp tone and I will suspend your phone and credit card." She said to me.
I left the soup kitchen and angrily got into my car and slammed the door.
I drove home and I hopped into the shower quickly.
I finished up and changed into my slippers, shorts, and a comfy hoodie before sitting down on my chair and scrolling through facebook.

I went and checked my wallpost and realized I had one from Mike.
"Your gorgeous." It wrote.
I smiled and liked it before moving on.
I didn't realize I had fallen asleep until I checked my phone.
I had a call from Mike.
"Hello?" I spoke groggily into the phone.
"Belle. I can't stop thinking about you. Your smile. Your everything. I can't stop thinking about you." He spoke into the phone.
Being more awake I asked Mike to repeat himself.
"I want to tell you this in person." He said into the phone.
The next thing I knew there was a stone being thrown at the window.
I opened my window and I saw Mike standing down there.
"What are you doing?" I yelled at him.
"Throw me down a ladder. The one you used to use to sneak out of the house." He yelled back.
I threw him the ladder and he quickly climbed into my 4 story bedroom window.
He jumped in and he was warm.
He grabbed my hands and held them to his chest.
"I can't stop thinking about you." He said leaning into me.
I smelled his cologne.
"I can't." He said leaning in for a kiss.
And I kissed him back.
I wasn't like any other kiss I ever had.
It was.. better.


So. A lot of you guys said how much you hate Javin. o:)
So do I.
I decided Mike and Belle might be cute together.
But, will they stay together?
