We always seem to forget that everything is so temporary
i mean yeah, okay, it crosses our minds once in a while
and we might do something daring and out of our comfort zones
but when that momemt passes, it gets stored away in the back of our minds and continue living as if there are
plenty of tomorrows waiting for us
(we postpone feelings and words to another)

And then one student said that happiness is what happens when you go to bed on the hottest summer night, a nigh so hot you can't even wear a tee-shirt and you sleep on top of the sheets instead of under them, although try to sleep is probably more accurate. And then some point late,late,late at night, say just a bit before dawn, the heat finally breaks and the night turns cool and when you briefly wake up, you notice that you're almost chilly and, in your groggy, half-counciousness, you reach over and pull the sheet around you and just that flimsy sheet makes it warm enough and you drift back off into a deep sleep. And it's that reaching, that gesture, that reflex we have to pull what's warm-- whether it's something or someone-- toward us, that feeling we get when we do that, that feelings of being safe in the world and ready for sleep, that's happiness.

I have a friend who reads people's auras. He sees all sorts of colors like green & red & purple. He says anyone can do it. All it takes is forgetting everything you think you know & just looking. I've tried it & even though I haven't seen any colors yet, everyone I meet looks so beautiful when I stop knowing everything, that it's pretty hard to go back to the old way.

The shooter was mentally unstable he didn't say "oh hey let me go kill some kids today because im really happy"
calling him a waste of human life or saying that he shouldn't have even lived is cruel and just plain rude.
he needed psychological help and he didn't recieve it.
he didn't ask to be psychotic
