Let Me Sneak You Out
Chapter 2.
I just sat on Zayn's bed starring at the floor. I didn't Liam would kiss me after I just told him I was heartbroke. A million thoughts ran through my mind, then it was interupted by someone kocking on the door and opening it. It was Liam. "Leila... Can we talk?" He asked shyly, and closing the door behind him. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. "Liam, there's nothing to say. I was explaing my heart break and you kiss me. Why did you think that would make it any better on my part?" I said looking back at the ground. I was twirling my thumbs and waiting for an answer but scared of what he was going to say. "Leila, I'm sorry. I seen an oppurtunity, so I took it. I wasn't thinking straight. I just don't know what came over me, I'm really sorry, Leila.. Please." Liam said sitting next to me on the bed. I looked over at his hands. He was shaking from being so nervous. "Liam, I forgive you, but it'll take some time to completely get past what happened... Thanks for being honest.." I said looking up at him. He had a sad look on his face so I hugged him. "Thank you, Leila." He said before getting up. He walked out of the room and I sat there. I felt a spark when Liam kissed me, but I don't know if it was just my brain telling me that this time it really is over between Jace and I or if my heart was just hoping for something. I just don't know...
A few weeks later...
I was constantly thinking about the kiss with Liam. I haven't talked to him since that night though... I've ignored his calls and texts for the past few weeks. I felt bad, but I just don't know I would say to him... I got out of bed and put on some sweat pants and went downstairs. "It lives!!" Harry joked hugging me. I gave him a mean look and he got a scared look on his face. "Do we have an ice cream?" I asked leaning on the counter. "No, but I can go get some... Wantme too?" Harry asked. i nodded my head yes. He grabbed his car keys and left. I walked into the living room where Louis was sitting. "Hey sis. Still not feeling to good?" Lou asked me. "Nope, this sucks..." I said flopping down next to him. "I heard what happened with Liam.." Lou said kind of not wanting to talk about it, but needing to. "Liam told you didn't he?" I said with a sigh. Louis shook his head and I leaned my head back. "I was on the balcony and Liam came out and asked me what was wrong and I told him then he kissed me. I didn't know what to do. It's jusst all.. confusing." I explained. "Liam is really sorry about it, but you can't keep ignoring him. I am in a band with him and you are my sister, talk to him." Louis said hugging me. I hated to admit it to myself but Louis was right. I needed to talk to Liam. Just then Harry came in with a hand full of movies and icecream and three spoons. "I'm ready to get you feeling better. I miss the fun Leila!" Harry said handing me a thing of ice cream and a spoon. He got up and put in 'The Last Song'.
A few hours later..
Louis and Harry really helped cheer me up, but I still needed to talk to Liam. My phone buzzed and i looked at it. It was a text from Liam. It read: Can you please talk to me? Leila please?' I stared at the screen and tried to think of what to say. I finally responded and told him to meet me here in 10 minutes. I didn't even care what I looked like, I just wanted.. no needed to see and talk to Liam. This was the longest ten minutes in my life, then the doorbell rang. I ran to the door and opened it. "Liam, come in." I said opening the door and inviting him inside. it has been almost a month since I've talked to Liam and such. We walked up to my room and sat down. We sat in silence for a few minutes until I broke the silence. "Liam, look. I know I've been ignoring you and it is not at all because I don't like you, it's just... I'm confused.." I stated. Liam looked up at me. "Leila, I know how you felt. You just got broken up with and I go and kiss you not even two hours after the break-up happened. It was rong and I am so very sorry. I really like you Leila, and I just thought that it would help you see that... I know what I did was wrong, but give me another chance please?"
