I think he gave you detention to make a "example" out of you. What you did was amazing, but he probably doesn't need people doing something like that every day. If you see what I'm getting at now. Also, I think he might have done it to protect you in a way, that girl that got dumped probably wants to see you get payback, and detention might satsify her needs.

my "dean"? lmao. i've gotten multiple detentions for being late to class too many times, so it doesnt bother me TOO much. i was just upset about this because i felt as if i did the right thing and that maybe he didnt like what i did. but, not the case! :)

That honey booboo principal of yours is a quite strange man and really deserves a slap omg! But I guess he had to give you detention just to make sure the girls parents don't say anything and sue the school or something idk but he's in charge and therefore he should have awarded you and praised you! What you did really sets an example for millions of people. He should've awarded you at an event and now he's just being all contradictory by punishing you then having you speak omg lol (: anywayssss you're amazing and I love you and give a kickdonkey speech cause you're amazing :)
