He was the one that wouldn't tell me where the office was. I followed, along with Robby, Andrew, David, and Ben. Andrew spoke to the officer,
"Is there a problem, Office-"
"Hands where I can see them!"
He cocked his gun. Everyone heard it and put there hands on their heads. A second officer came up in his car. He got out of his car quickly, seeing his partner's loaded gun was pointed to us.
"Stand down, Deputy."
The, deputy, put his gun back in his black holster. The second officer approached us,
"Why are you all so wet?"
He raised and eyebrow and looked at each one of us. Finally, Robby spoke, making the tension die down some,
"I'm no weather man but by the looks of it, it seems to be raining."
A smirk came across his face. The officer has another question,
"Well, why are you kids out in this weather?"
I had to think fast. Robby seemed like he didn't have an answer. I got it!
"His car wouldn't start!"
I started, all too excited,
"We got out to push and it finally started. We jumped in when you pulled up."

"Oh. Well there have been reportings of "pool hoppings". They were teenage kids, like you all. Sorry for stopping you. Be safe now."
The officers drove away as we sighed with relief. I checked my phone and saw the time. 1:45 am.
"Andrew! Let's go!"
We all jumped in the car and sped off to Robby's house. The boys filed out. Andrew drove up a little further up to my grandma's house. Just as I was about to get out, Andrew stopped me,
"Ray?"
"Yeah Ands?"
He paused. I searched his face. I stopped at his eyes. Those blue eyes that I've been looking into for years. "Snap out of it Ray!! He's your best friend!" I thought to myself.
"Just call me. I have to go! Bye!"
I ran into the house, soaking wet. I made my way upstairs and into the shower. I can't remember what happened next but what I woke up to surprised me.
