PROLOGUE:
Moonlight shines through the forest, casting spooky shadows on the ground below. Wind whispering through the trees. The eery silence of the night is deafening. Close by there is the sound of something crunching through the autumn leaves.
The person stands tall with a black hood over their head. They look over their shoulder every few seconds as if to justify they’re alone. Next to them is a girl, underdressed for the blistering cold night in nothing but a blue tank top, some pajama pants, and boots.
The girl follows the mystery person until they come to a cabin by the cliffside.
The cabin looks long abandoned, with broken shutters and peeling paint. They walk up the front steps of the cabin. The wood creaked with every step taken. The hooded person opens the door which is barely hanging on its one hinge.
The girl breaks down at the door, crying into her hands. The other person grabs her wrist and yanks her upright, forcing her along. The girl notices the hooded figure appears to be a man.
What will he do to her? How long will she be here? Why her?
She breaks from her thoughts and realizes the man has stopped pulling her. Yet, she was still following him.
Why doesn’t she make a run for it?
Without hesitating, she turns and runs up the stairs, out of the basement she has willingly followed the man into. She reaches out to grab the door. As she touched the doorknob with her fingertips, she felt a sharp pain on the side of her head. And then, darkness.

Sick Chapter Thirteen
♦ Christine's P.O.V ♦
It was a really fun night with Mira and Jenny but honestly I had gotten upset.I just didn't want to ruin the atmosphere.I had sorta felt like that Jenny was betraying us and I wonder what Mira thinks.Now she believes Jessamine's "I'm sorry." over us telling her how Jessamine has been for a long time.I mean I admit that Jessamine might be really meaning it but it's a 50,50 chance and I fear Jenny might lose.So I just ignored it while trying to calm myself down.Anyways,the Nickolas Sparks movies are so fishing adorable!The romance and the climax gives me a good night sleep in true love.I had a normal life nothing much really and as a hobby I paint.My inspirations come from a lot of places but my favorite artists is Leonardo Da Vinci.His amazing techniques of painting just gives the people in his sketches to life.I wish I could be famous like him and do something worthwhile with my life.I know that Jenny is obessed with finding a band and getting her songs in the open.Sometimes I wonder what goes on in her secret life.Her house has tons of pictures of many different people but she never mentions them.Her mind is like a maze and unfortunatly neither Mira nor I have found everything in the maze.Maybe Hunter can find a way but I feel like she closes up to him.I just think that she worries about Hunter using her like Cody did.But I don't think Hunter is like that at all.When I first met him he had a bad boy edge to him but he's really sweet and caring.After all you can't get perfection in life but you must find the best there is.I had left Jenny's house as I realized it was 10.
I stepped outside and the chilly cold night brought shivers running down my arms.I quickly got into my car and drove to my house.I was fervantly praying that I would arrive home safe and sound.I listened to the radio which had country songs on.I really liked Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift but yeah it's my opinion.Funny how Jenny is like a total opposite of me but we can get along.My car slowed down and my engine puttered and stopped.The light had slowly turned off and it was dark out here on the road.I went outside to see my engine's oil was leaking and it was gone.I peered around to see the woods on one side and the other side was a field of wheat.I think the nearest gas station was 15 miles away.I sighed and started walking.
After a hour my feet were aching as my phone died of battery before I could try to call someone.I looked up to see it was cloudy and thunder rumbled.Fear skittered in my mind as I started imagining kidnappers around this area.I should have hide in the car.Atleast this frosty cold night wouldn't penatrate deep into my skin.I rubbed my hands to keep myself warm and rain came pouring down on me.In a moment the coldness seeped into my bones making me numb.I looked around feeling like I was watched when someone grabbed my waist.I tried screaming but they tied my mouth up with a peice of cloth.I couldn't see who it was since they had put a blindfold on me.I could feel a gun on my forehead as the man said to follow him.I sat down in a car I think and he drove off.He spun around a lot until he took me into the woods.I knew since I could hear a owly hooting in the back as he opened a door.He dragged me in and I tried to see through my blindfold.
"Don't even try."The man said in a familar voice.I whimpered and he slapped me."Don't do anything."He said evenly.
♦ Jenny's P.O.V ♦
I had cleaned up after Mira and Christine left.I think it was a tense moment as I had told them about Jessamine apologizing.They had looked at me like I was marrying an alien.In the end everyone calmed down and we relaxed.I was thinking about Hunter the whole time during the movie and I felt his kiss when the couple kissed in the movie.I almost pictured it to be me and Hunter.It was a good day even then I missed Karen.Tears rolled down my face and in the silence the telephone rang.
"Jenny?"Someone said on the other side.
"Yes and who is this?"I asked politely.
"If you want your friend to be saved then hurry and come to me on Thrusday Feburary 14."The man said on the phone.
"Excuse me what are you talking about?What friend are you talking about?"I asked getting scared.There was a scream and I realized it was Christine's.More tears poured down and my hand was shaking."Need any more clues?Nope didn't think so."The man said and hung up.
I wanted to tell Hunter so badly but-.The phone rang again and I picked it up in a minute.
"Don't bother telling your boyfriend either honey or else he's going to die."the voice said and hung up.How did the person know I was dating Hunter?Now I was trapped and I cried silently wondering who I could tell about this.It's like the man is keeping a eye on me or something.Fear crawled up my spine and I sweated nervously.
