Well, there's no definitive answer. But the flower is the epitome of reproduction, it benefits the environment and it does not die - as they bloom all year round, the "death" of one flower is quickly recycled into a new form of life. You can interpret this however you like. Flowers are a constant, and they are beautiful in their simplicity. Flowers are essential to life, and thus a constant reminder of our existence.
