It would've been so damn
simple to reach over and tap him on the shoulder. I mean,
he was standing on the bleachers right in front of me. I
could've reached over and tapped him on the
shoulder and he would've turend around looking
a little confused, blinking those Bambi- like eyes at me;
and I- by God I would've kissed him.
I would've kissed him in the way that'd let him know
he had somehow become the most beautiful thing to
me. It would've been so damn simple.
