Parents might be amazing to their child: buy them presents, buy them a pet, give them the latest gadget, but parents will never understand what it's like to be a lost, insecure and damaged teenager. Yes they know the basic stuff but not the most important. Yes, some do. Some understand, some actually make a difference but idk, i just feel like parents just don't

Just my opinion but a parent who buys their kids stuff is not "amazing to their child".
