I hate it when people put down my religion. Like fine, okay, I get it; you have an opinion about it and that's perfectly fine. Everyone has their right to say what they do and don't believe in, but when you come up to my face and tell me that my religion is wrong, that it's not real,that God is a lie that's when I'll get mad. And not even so much mad as upset. I've gone home crying from school because of things people have said to me about my religion, my own friends making fun of me for it. I respect the fact that you don't believe in God, so why can't you respect the fact that I do? And every time someone takes a snippet from the Bible to prove that any type of Christianity is evil and cruel, read the whole passage because I'm pretty sure you aren't getting the full context. I'm a Christian who believes in everything the Bible says as well as things like homosexuality. So stop judging me and stop telling people that they're wrong for their religion. It's tiring and childish and annoying. Thank you.

You have every right to get angry. I get the same hate for my religion and it really hurts me...
People just don't understand.

Thank you. Like, I don't make remarks to people about what religion they practice or the fact that they don't practice a religion because it's not my place and, really, it doesn't matter what people believe in. But, when it comes to Christianity, some people don't have the same mindset.

and then it kills me when a few people aren't comfortable with something like homosexuality and everyone blows up in their face, but they're all being hypocrites while we just sit here and take all the hate and criticism that people have to say about any type of religion. the world is a funny place sometimes I guess
