The moment when the boy that I thought I loved when I was twelve is the guy who I still have feelings for at fourteen.

Ditto for many, many high schoolers, especially the ones that obnoxiously make out in the middle of the hallway. "I love him so much he's my boo!" "Shut up, you just met him last week. And I don't know about you, but I actually have a class to get to, so please, get out of my way." -.-

i agree with this but i think it's the same way with 15 year olds. but on the other side you can fall in love at any age, it might just not be true. (so sappy i know)

Stop being such about it. People at that age think that that's love, and someday they'll understand what loving someone REALLY means. In the sixth grade you think that you're already a grown up. I bet a lot of you also did this. So SHUT UP ABOUT IT!:)

I actually don't believe in love. I don't believe in how married adults tolerate eachother for so much time. This is something my friend was talking to me about. I even find it stupid for seniors at my high school to say they love eachother

Never been in love, right? Don't worry, I haven't either but it does exist, and one day you'll find it:)

It's not that I haven't been in love. I thought I was in love once but in just one minute the person I 'loved' ruined everything about who I thought he was. That's when I realized that you don't really love anyone until you know every single thing about someone. And you don't ever actually know everything about someone, do you? So what is love? And why do so many people think they feel it?

i know this is late but can i just say, you don't always need to know everything about the person but i do agree that you should spend a substantial amount of time with a person before deciding to get married etc, but take your family, they dont know a lot about me but they still love me but i guess thats a different type of love, something i guess i was wired to do when i was born, anyway sorry this is a completeely random message. Maybe you know you love them when you realize when they die you die aswell inside? maybe you think you don't love them but once they leave you realize you do. omg this is so confusing. yeah but like you said you will never know everything but you can find out over years so yeah one minute isnt a lot, and over the years people can learn to love eachother. k sorry for the long message and yeahhh

I guess when you are in like elementary school and stuff it seem dumb not to date, but then you get into middle school and high school and it's like "Wow. It seem SO dumb that these 4th graders are "dating""

since when was there a law that states less than 13 years cannot have feelings?

When you're 18 you'll read this and think "Wow why would 12 year olds be in love?"

I'm going to assume that if there are 2nd graders at your school that you're in elementary school. And if you're in elementary school I'm going to assume that you are under the age of 13. You need to be 13 to be on this website.

Sorry, but the last time I checked, love happens at any age?

dolph* · 1 decade ago
Okay, if I ever see a pedophile with a child I'll just remember that "love happens at any age"

Thanks for the advice

Okay. I don't know if you understand the concept. Dating, comes before proposal and marriage, right?
"Dating" is basically searching for someone to marry. You date them, then you propose. That's the way it works. I highly doubt that Twelve year olds are looking for marriage or a serious, long term relationship. ^-^ So erm yeah ._.

You can like someone or really like someone when you're in sixth grade. But to be in love? They don't see how mature or immature other people or themselves are to be sure if they're actually in love with someone else.

I was one of those 12 year olds a few years ago. Love does not happen in sixth grade. Twelve year olds are not mentally capable of being "in love" for real.

I hear this every day at school. And then when one of them have a party, they try to make the two kids who are "dating" to kiss or something. It is so weird.

Omg when we were in like year 3 (7-8yrs) my friend had a massive crush on this guy and he had one on her too and like everyone knew. Anyway one day a load of people from the year above grabbed them both and tied them together with skipping ropes until they kissed! (sorry you probably dont care just seemed appropriate)
