The only rule on Witty that is even close to your accusation is rule v. In which it states that you cannot ask for faves or comments because Witty is not about fake internet points, it is about expressing ones self with meaningful words. Carson5482 is not asking for faves or comments, merely requesting followers so that they may see her quotes easily and her quotes can reach farther.

I've looked into that, and I haven't found anywhere where it says it's against the rules, but if you know where, then I'll absolutely stop! :)
