Chapter Ten

“You know,” Niall said, after a good half hour on the plane. “You can really sing.”
“Niall,” I said quietly. “You’ve known me since I was born and you’re just telling me this now?”
“No thank you? Okay,” he said and I laughed.
“Well, thank you, but like really!?” I said and he laughed.
“What?” he chuckled. “I haven’t really paid much attention to it until now.”
“Gee, thanks,” I said and he face palmed.
“Stop making complementing you difficult,” he said and I laughed.
“Sorry,” I said sarcastically and he smiled.

NIALL’S POV

After an hour of just being idiots, Fizz got tired. She put her head back and started to doze off. Once she was asleep, her head fell onto my shoulder. She’s so cute. I honestly have no idea why I wasted a couple of hours on Abby. Whoa, that sounded weird… ha-ha.
“Hey Niall,” Zayn said, smiling. “I see you’re happy.”
“What? Fizz? Please, this has happened before,” I said, although I couldn’t help but smile.
“Yeah,” Zayn said. “But this is the first time it’s happened since you found out she likes you.”
“SHE LIKES ME!?” I shouted and, somehow, Fizzy didn’t wake up.
“Zayn,” Avery sighed, “you just blew Fizzy’s cover.”
“Oh yeah,” Zayn nervously laughed. “You didn’t hear any of that.”
“Wait, who told you she likes me?” I asked, a smile on my face.
“Sophie,” Zayn said.
“Well, gee, thanks,” Sophie said, from behind me, and Zayn shrugged.
“Would you guys just shut up before Fizzy wakes up into this mess?” Kyra said.
“Well I’m sorry I got excited,” I said and Zayn chuckled.
Then, I felt something on my cheek. It was quick… it was a kiss.
