I have a friend that does that, except its with literally everything. I'll tell her what made my weekend pretty cool and she'll instantly jump in with a big story about her and her five other best friends having a sleepover or some sh/t. Like really? It seriously just demolishes my day and I'm all quiet the rest of the school day.

I know! I Really don't get people who do this. Like isn't life and school competitive enough for you? Just about all my friends do this.

Same here, I pretty much have stopped telling anything to my friends. Just last week I showed my friend my new phone and she literally said nothing nice not even a cool, and just started in about how she never got a new phone and went on for like 20 mins. Week later gets iphone 5.
