I got the same sort of speech from junior once o.o except freshman were also below small organisms(which we're made of o.O) and vomit.. :c

basically they are the names given to highschoolers in America. If it's your first year of highschool (9th graders around the age of 14, 15) you are freshmen. Next is tenth graders around the age of 15, 16 are sophomores. Next is grade 11 which is around 16 and seventeen year-olds. They are called Juniors. Then it's your very last year of high school, and you are called a Senior. Seniors are around 17 and 18 years old. The freshmen are usually "Fresh-meat" and the butt of the jokes at high school while the Seniors are worshipped like some sort of gods. It's quite interesting...

Ohhh, I was always confused with the American school system, but now I get it. It's strange because in Australia high school starts in Year 7 and ends in Year 12 but people from Year 7 to 10 aren't really called anything but the Year 11's and 12's are called the seniors
