okay i dont know how much you actually know about american history but what happened the last time a major right was taken away? Uh slaves? Civil War? Any of that ring a bell? The right to bear arms? Its in the constitution- Congress cant just take it out. Its a long drawn out process and I guarantee you the south with succeed from the Union AGAIN.

to be honest. guns arent going to be illegal. nor should they. its unconstitutional to ban guns and it would not go over with the supreme court. so just get over the idea of them being illegal. cause that wont happen. in most cases like the shooting in Connecticut the shooters get the guns illegally. which ANY criminal would do the same. making it illegal wont stop anything form happening. i mean gay marriage is illegal correct? but it doesnt stop people from being gay and spending their life with one person. does it? no.
in my opinion if we all had guns crime rate would go down. cause, for example no one is going to go rob a bank knowing the bank is unarmed and has no protection. if we had protection crime would go down. in the united sates, with the amount of people who own guns in just a few states would have a larger army than many countries. in a situation of an attack on our country. we would win.
so yeah

No. You need to be close to kill someone with a knife and your hand. With a gun you could kill at a further range.

Putting on a gun ban would probably decrease the amount of deaths in the USA.
