Is Jesse bi-polar?

Oh my gosh! HE LIKES ME! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Yah!
My third thought?
It doesn't matter, I'm leaving to go back to Australia in a couple of days.
“You know, right now would be a good time to say something,” Jesse said nervously. “I understand if you hate me, heck, I want you to hate me. What I said yesterday was horrible and-and.”
“You know I like you too,” I murmured, blushing.
“Seriously?”
“Yes, but it doesn't matter.”
“What?!” Jesse exclaimed.
“I'm leaving for Australia in four days. Four days, Jesse. That isn't long at all.”
“I'll make it worth it.” What if he was just playing with me? That though dawned me. He was still dating Rose, I wouldn't be the 'other woman'.
“And Rose?”
“I broke up with her,” I looked at him through my lashes to see if he was lying or not, but Jesse wasn't exactly easy to read. His face always held no emotions. I didn't reply. “So, what do you say?” he asks, quietly.
“Say about what?”
“Will you be my girlfriend?” A grin broke onto my face and I nodded. I started leaning in to kiss him, as he leant in the kiss me but the door opened, suddenly, interrupting us. Who just interrupted us? I was going to murder somebody! It was the doctor and Jesse was looking at the doctor with such a glare that if looks could kill, the doctor would be six feet under. I was blushing a bright red. “Yes, doctor?” Jesse said through gritted teeth.
“Oh, I just came in for a check up. I hope everything is alright, do you have a headache or does your stomach hurt?”
“Nope.”
“Well, if everything is alright you can go home tonight. Your psychologist, Jack called here to see if everything was alright. He told your friend to pass on a message. If you need anything, call a nurse.” The doctor was about to leave before he bowed his head and said, “Son, I'm sorry about your parents and brother.” Jesse's eyes immediately flicked to his hands. Once the doctor had left, I looked at Jesse.
“Are you going to tell me?” I asked, knowing he knew what I meant.
