You could have done it in your free time. It isn't the school's obligation to halt classes and events to show "respect" for the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack. Each person should do it on their own, or in groups if they wish, but shouldn't force others to do it.

We didn't either. We have a moment of silence everyday, but we usually have longer moments than usual on important days like today. The only teacher of mine that actually discussed it was history. It's just sad that we didn't have a moment of silence.

I know. Mine didn't either! I'm so mad. They say "Stand up for 'Oh Canada', it's only one minute of your day," and they couldn't even *acknoledge* the fact that several innocents died that day?
