telling girls to stop "fangirling"
and "obsessing" over
celebrities,
Honestly, who do you think you are? Yes, I understand some girls go a bit overboard and lose their self-respect as well as respect for the artist, but you are just naming a small percent of the girls. Or at least you obviously don't know the girls on witty. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe this musician/band actually keeps this girl going through life? Maybe she doesn't have anyone else to turn to. Maybe she listens to their music and is brought to tears just thinking about them. Maybe she's in love with someone who doesn't know she exists. But take a look around you. Have you ever loved someone you can't have? Ever had someone constantly telling you it will never work? Yeah, it f/cking hurts. But that won't stop you from loving them just as much even if they did know you. Maybe because you have some faith, some hope. Not just because you think they're "sexy" or "hot as f/ck" but because you know that no matter what happens, you'll always have those memories of being a "fangirl". So yes, I'm f/cking proud to be a "fangirl". It means I'm dedicated and hopeful, and you have absolutely no right whatsoever to tell me otherwise. Who are you to tell me who I love? All I know is that when I see their picture or hear their voice, it puts a smile on my face, and who are you to tell me that I have no respect or dignity?

@kclove Yes, I understand that there are MANY girls out there on Tumblr, Youtube, etc. who are perverted and want to f/ck their celebrity crush, but judging an entire group just because of the actions of some is unfair. I have a Tumblr, and I read some of the fanfics/imagines that fans write, and not all of them are as perverted/disgusting as you make them out to be. And as for the Zux fanfic, that was a 14 year old girl doing it as a sick joke. Of course, I don't find this funny at all, but she obviously didn't have bad intentions. And if you haven't noticed, almost NO ONE in the fandom supported her or what she was doing, so calling out one individual is pointless. I do appreciate your argument, even though you act like I don't know what a fangirl. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of "fangirls" are just your average teen girl who scream whenever their favorite musician/band's song comes on the radios, gets concert tickets, etc. The title "fangirl" doesn't necessarily mean an "obsessive, perverted, preteen" as you put it. And by the way, please don't call someone "Hun" in an argument, it just makes you look ridiculous, I'm sorry. :)

@NerdyGirly I totally understand what you mean, and I don't mean to be hating on you and anyone else who doesn't share my music tastes. And yes, I do agree that witty is becoming flooded with One Direction quotes, and it is a bit annoying, but nevertheless, witty is still a website for girls to express what they want and how they feel, so that means many girls want to express their feelings for One Direction, Justin Bieber, etc. And we can't and shouldn't try to stop them from posting about what they feel. :)

Your comment made me laugh, I'm sorry. I never said anything about the girls I'm referring to wanting to "f/ck" the artist. These girls are their true fans, and from what I've seen on witty, most of the girls on here aren't saying they'd want to "f/ck" them so your argument is invalid :) Please think before you comment on quotes?

I know what you are talking about but honestly they don't need to turn my only hope (witty) into a place that is all about the celeberty. I dont want to make the people cry but honestly I REALLY hate one direction. I REALLY hate justiin Berber. So I don't care If it offends people when I say I don't like the,. And when the quotes overwhelm MY place off escape then I don't care if they dont like me telling them to stop. I have feelings to.
