I still love you.

Chapter 4.
  I walked to the back side of Ainsley's house, where the smell of burning firewood quickly filled my lungs.
It smelled like Summer.
"You're just in time, Kadri." Ainsley smiled at me, carrying an empty rootbeer bottle over to the fire, where everyone was sitting.
"For?" I giggled, sitting down in an empty chair around the fire.
"Spin the bottle." Brynn smiled deviously at me, then laughed.
"Sp-spin the bottle?" I stumbled over my words nervously.
"Yeah..?" She replied, confused.  "You know, you spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on, you makeout with?"
I nodded.
I had played it several times, but not once since Connor and I broke up.
I wonder what it will feel like?  Kissing someone else for the first time..
"But there's a catch." Ainsley announced, getting everybodies attention.
She then explained that we would be blind folded before we spun, so we didn't know who we were kissing.
She then told us that the kiss had to last atleast 15 seconds, and whoever didn't put an effort into it, would be disqualified.
We all agreed to follow the rules, and made a circle in the grass near the fire pit.
"Who's going first?" Ainsley asked, placing the bottle in the middle of the circle.
"Only one way to find out." Owen said, spinning the bottle.
It landed on Brynn.
"Looks like you're first Brynn." Owen told her.
I helped her tightly tie the blind fold around her eyes.
Once she couldn't see anything, she spun the bottle.
It landed on Cade.
They made out for a good 15 seconds, and we told her she could take off her blind fold.
She didn't look surprised when she realized it was Cade.
Obviously, this wasn't their first time making out with eachother.
"I'll go next." Ainsley offered, willingly wrapping the blind fold around her eyes.
Was I the only one who didn't want to be playing this?
She gave the bottle a spin.
Please don't land on Connor, Pleease don't land on Connor, I prayed to myself.
Thankfully, the bottle stopped on Cade, again.
"Damn..Getcha some." Connor teased Cade.
We all giggled, but Cade punched Connor hard in the shoulder.
Ainsley and Cade did their 15 seconds, and we told Ainsley she could take off her blind fold.
She looked much more surprised than Brynn did.
Clearly she wasn't expecting it to be Cade again.
"Kadriiiiiii." Ainsley smiled at me, wiggling the blind fold between her fingers.
"Ugh." I groaned.  "Do I have to?"
"Mmhmm." She muttered, tieing the blind fold tightly around my eyes.
Once I couldn't see, she placed my hand on the bottle.
I gripped it tightly, giving it a hard spin.
I could hear it brushing against the grass as it spun, and I was hoping it would never stop.
"Oohh!" Everybody said, amused, as the bottle same to a stop.
What was that supposed to mean?
I felt a warm hand touch my cheek, then a pair of soft lips collide with mine.
Whoever this was, he was an amazing kisser.
Maybe getting over Connor wouldn't be as hard as I thought.
"Okay, times up you two love birds." Cade joked.
Well, it wasn't Cade, it had to be Owen.
I slowly pulled off my blind fold, only to find a pair of gentle eyes staring into mine.
They were an icy blue.
They were familiar.
  They were Connor's.

I've been super busy with school, and i'm still grounded.
