The thing I pride myself about most is my ability to rationalize with others and put things into perspective. Many of the people I meet and get to know mention how intelligent and mature I am for my age. In today's society, no one seems to care about school, or thinking at all. I'm not trying to say "oh I'm so smart blah blah blah" but I'm proud of the fact that I can understand things for what they are, which is a much needed skill in life.

why am i insecure?
no one goes out of their way to talk to me. all of my friends have boys crawling all over them and then there's me. if something attention-worthy happens to me, no one cares. i don't try to make a big deal out of it though. it's like i have to remind people that i'm still here.
i guess my existence is irrelevant.

I don't want a relationship where the boy is lovey dovey all the time. I don't want one "just like the movies". I want a boy who teases me a lot, but completely respects me. A boy who's super funny and confident, but never arrogant. I also believe that a relationship is a two-way street. So i would try and do stuff for him. I won't expect him to wait on me hand and foot or buy me stuff all the time. I prefer a relationship where we're random, adventurous and partners-in-crime.
He doesn't have to be perfect, because I'm definetly not.
