change. chapter 3 part 2
* it felt like Thursday night came faster than expected. I found an outfit at abercrombie that I would wear. Really short dark denim shorts with a white flowered tank top. Matt said that he would of picked me up, but the band members had to meet early before the concert so they could set up. His sister Caroline came to pick me up instead. *”hi, I’m Caroline, but call me care” she greeted, “you must be Angie! It’s so nice to meet you!”. Caroline was friendly, she was a year older than me and matt, and went to a private performing arts school. She liked to sing and many people thought she was really good, so her parents decided to send her to a school that specialized in the arts. “ I might transfer to public school like you and matt,” she started, “I don’t have that many friends at PPA, (short for Park-side Performing Arts) all the people there are snobs, and they aren’t really all that good performers. Their rich parents just send them there in hopes that they might end up having some talent what so ever. Plus, singing is just a hobby of mine and I don’t think I’ll ever make a job off of it. You only make it in Hollywood or Broadway it you can sing and act, or sing and dance; I have no rhyme, and I’m a terrible actress. But enough about me, tell me about yourself Angie.” *God, what is there to tell her about me? “uhm…” I didn’t know what to say “ my name is Angie, I’m 5’ 4”, I’m an only child, I don’t have many friends, I only have one, her name is Lexi, she’s at the beach this whole summer, I have a cat named mittens, and I’ve always wanted to go to England, Australia, and Hawaii. And, uhm, yeah, that’s pretty much it about me.” Care looked stunned when I said I didn’t have almost any friends. “how can you not have many friends?! First off, you seem like one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve met yet, and your gorgeous! If you need any friends, I’m here!”. “you really think I’m pretty?” I questioned. “Stunning”.
