*”sorry about charlotte,
she’s just a bimbo anyway, that’s Brandon’s
current girlfriend, but next week it will change.”
“okay, and its fine...” I said reassuring him that they
hadn’t been a problem. “I’m really happy you
came. I hope you liked it.” “yeah,” I said
“I liked the music. It’s different.” I looked
around at the small room we were in, it had three guitars on hooks
and a big pack of ear plugs on the ground. Drum-sticks were
scattered over in the corner, and some wrappers were here and
there. “it’s a mess…I know.” Matt said as
he looked around with me “but we’re rockers…so
hey, no one ever said we didn’t make messes!” I
laughed. There’s the matt I know and like. “Lexi, my
bestfriend, her brother is six and thinks he’s a rock star.
He has this guitar he made out of cardboard and everything.
It’s cute except for the fact that screams his own made up
lyrics that he insists are ACDC. That’s the only rock band he
knows.” “wow, maybe I can meet him sometime…if
that’s okay, I mean, I love kids.” ‘Matt loves
kids, that’s so cute’ I thought. Yeah, this one’s
a keeper, I’ll tell Lexi about him. *I called her that night,
and she invited me to the beach the next week. I knew my parents
wouldn’t care so I said that I would go. I wanted to tell her
about matt, but I couldn’t get a word in edge-wise. Lexi
wasn’t being rude, its just when she’s excited she
talks fast and you cant get her to shut up. I heard some whispers
on the other end of the line and she quickly mumbled “I uhh,
gotta run. See you in a few!” and with that she hung
up.
