like
the

of
it
but
apparently
they
had
good

me
to

concert
on
Thursday
night.

was
pumped,
but
all
I
could
say
was
“I’ll
be
there”.
All
I
could
think
about
was
how
cute
Matt
would
be
playing
the
bass.
What
was

supposed
to
wear?

wish
Lexi
was
here
to
help
me
pick
out
my
outfit.
She
would
be
so
proud
of
me
for
getting
the
guy.

occurred
to
me
that
I
hadn’t
really
thought
about
her
all
day.

made
a
mental
note
to
call
her
when

got
home.

to

call

like

urgently

to
go.

thought,
her
parents
usually

care
when
she’s
on

phone
for

while.

thought,
‘no
biggie,

had
somewhere

needed
to

that

time

talked
to
her,
