    how can I explain him? he is sunshine on a rainy day. he is singing along to bad songs with your head tilted back, singing until your throat hurts and your ears ring. he's poetry, he's music, he is saying things at the same time as someone because you know them that well. he is weird thumbs and silent, painful laughter, he is do-you-like-me-check-yes-or-no. he's a best friend, a brother, but he's also me blushing behind my clasped hands. he's the hearts drawn in sharpie on my palm, he's swearing in french and he speaks to me with his eyebrows because we both know what I'm thinking. we act like old ladies gossiping or five year olds kicking each others legs under the table. (those are bruises i don't mind having.) he is the hairs on my arms raising when he brushes past me, he's a hug on a terrible day, he's the way it feels to finally come home after a long time away. he's dust in the sunlight and playing the piano and he has stupid hair and little freckles on his neck that i want to kiss sometimes.
    he's everything.

    If he's not calling you it's because
    you are not on his mind. If he creates expectations for you
    and then doesn't follow through on little things, he will do the
    same for big things. Be aware of this and realize that
    he’s okay with disappointing you. Don’t be with someone who
    doesn’t do what they say they’re going to do. If he’s choosing
    not to make a simple effort that would put you at ease and bring
    harmony to a recurring fight, then he doesn’t respect your
    feelings and needs.

    - how to do taxes
    - what taxes are
    - how to vote
    - what politics are
    - how to write a reusme/cover letter/anything related to getting a job
    - how to write a check/balance a check book
    - anything to do with banking
    - how to do loans for college
    - how to jump start a car or other basic emergency things
    - how to buy a house or a car
    but boy am i f/cking glad that i know the pythagorean theorm.

    Yesterday, my best guy friend
    made me realize something. My parents are gonna fight and drive me absolutley crazy.
    They will tick me off and make me hate them. My boyfriend and I will argue and get
    mad at each other, then ignore each other; and sometimes, it's probably gonna hurt.
    I'm going to go to school after being up all night doing a project, and have a horrible day
    because I didn't get any sleep, I forgot my keys, and the teacher yelled at me for talking.
    I'm gonna fail that test I studied so hard for. I'm gonna forget my lunch money. People are
    going to be my 'bestfriends', then stab me in the back when I was nothing but nice to them.
    I'll go through break-ups, pain, and losses, as well as make-ups, happiness, and victories.
    But most importantly he made me realize, that I'll have him through it all.... no matter what.
    He trusts me, cares about me, understands me, believes me, and will always be on my side.
    I have the best best friend in the world.
