I want someone
to love me enough to count my freckles (I think there's seven). Someone who will wipe away my tears and hold me close (I might resist at first). I want someone who adores me enough to kiss all the parts of me that have scars (I'm afraid though, they can't kiss my heart). I want someone to want me, to love me, to need me (because I need them).

I have a friend who is gay and recently we asked him
what is was like to have
"the conversation" with his parents,
like telling them he was gay
and he just said he never told them,
and then he said
"my brother who's straight never went to my parents
and said 'hey i'm straight' so why should i do it?"
and he arrived home with his boyfriend
and nobody made a big deal out of it
and i think it should be like that everywhere

I know of a kid who was in a coma for a week and when he woke up the first thing he did was panic because he had homework due and I think that sums up the American school system pretty well
