Ones dismay: Chapter one.
My eyes adjustes to the dark bedroom as I lay on my back. It's 2am and I can't sleep, all I can hear is Tracys stupid pop music pounding through the walls and into my mind. But that's not whats bugging me, I recieved a phone call from Pheonix he said that someone was coming for me today, he said not to panic he said that they would be staying with me for a while. What does he mean a person? What does he mean a while? Who was he talking about?

I open my eyes to find the sun shining through the cracks of the blinds by my window, it's warmth burning into my skin like laser beams. I lift myself off of the bed and into my slippers, I walk down the stairs and out into the lounge room where Pheonix is sitting on the couch, flicking through the channels on the tv.
"You need to get another set top box" He says, smiling.
"Are you paying?" I asked as he stood up.
"You wish, I have someone I'd like you to meet, and since you are one of the most powerful witches of our time, I thought that you would take care of him for a while" Pheonix said, using a hand motion to call over someone from the seldom used dining room.
"I'd like you to meet Dylan, Dylan is a wizard, his family was attacked yesterday and whoever attacked his family are after him too" Pheonix patted Dylan on the back and looked at me with a careful eye.
"Nice to meet you Dylan, I'm Diana" I said extending my hand to him.
Dylan reached out and shook my hand, his hand was strong and firm, he had obviously been working out.
Thats when it happened, I saw Dylan standing against a wall, a Ravenguard standing over him, the Ravenguard lifs one hand up his claws long and red.
"NO" I scream, but they can't hear me, I try running toward them but they seem to get more distant. The Ravenguard turns and looksat me with his red eyes. He turns back to Dylan, picks him up and flys off into the night.

My eyes flickered to his swolen and bloodied face, I couldn't tell him my vision, could I?
He looked at me with soulful eyes his brown touselled hair covering his left eye, "My dismay I don't regret, it brought me to you and to another life" As we stood underneath the bell tower he raised his hand to my jaw, lifted my head and kissed me. "I will protect you like you protected me" He said, las his breath lingered on my lips. "DYLAN NO!" I shouted, but he was gone. The Ravenguards had disappeared into the night with him.
Diana is a witch, with one touch she can see into anyones near future, theres one thing, she's fallen for the guy she has to protect with her life and he's fallen for her. With every touch the future for Dylan looks not so bright, will she stand up to protect the one she loves or will everything come crashing down?

If I was a witch I would,
eliminate traffic,
do my math homework,
tie my shoes,
pick out cute oufits without trying,
think of what I want to text people and magic would type it,
confuse teachers by moving their chalk/markers,

Prologue
Crystal's P.O.V
My name is Crystal.
I come from England, and that's why I have a thick, British accent.
I have a deep dark secret that only my family knows.
I'm a good witch.
No one believes in fairytales and beautiful creatures, like fairies or unicorns; now you should.
Now I'm going to tell you a story.
A story where a little girl named Ava found out about me.
I was in the middle of using my powers; then a girl, she looked about sevenish, walked by, and asked me what I was doing.
"Promise you won't tell anyone?" I whispered.
She nodded eagerly, and her eyes widened when I told her I was a witch.
She was excited; she was still one of those girls that wanted to be a fairytale princess when she was older.
"Tell me why you're here, in the dark, on the street, alone." I demanded.
"I-I'm homeless," she wailed.
I gasped. "I'll help you find a new home," I said softly.
"Are you good or bad?" she asked in a quiet voice.
"I'm a good witch," I replied, truthfully. "You can live with me."
Ava's eyes lit up. They were glowing so bright.
"Thank you so much! You saved my life!" she hugged me.
"You're welcome," I smiled.
I was in the bathroom, with a long blue dress on.
It had twinkles of silver that went along with it, which went well with my straight, blonde hair.
I walked out of the bathroom, calling to Ava. "I'm done! You can come in now."
When she got out, we just sat on two, white couches, as I poured some tea into little expensive glass cups.
There was a little glass table in front of us, as I put my tea there.
We got to know each other a lot, and I gave Ava a pair of spare crystal, dangly earrings.
We had a lot of fun, until the doorbell rang.
I opened the door, and I smiled.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked.
It was my best friend. His name is Julian.
"Can I talk to you in private?" he asked, eyeing Ava curiously.
"Sure," I said, signalling to Ava to wait there.
"You're a good witch, I know it," Julian said.
"I just haven't told you, I'm a wizard, and Leah is a half-human, half-werewolf."
