I am not my appearance.
I am not my height, my hair, my skin color, or my body type. Do not assume that just because I look a certain way, it means that I must and will act a certain way. Do not assume that just because I may be smaller than you in physical size, it means that my ideas and opinions do not matter just as much as someone who may physically look more mature. I am sick of all this “you act so (inset race here)” talk. Please tell me how I can act like a color. Thank you, but I am acting like ME. I am acting like how I want to, I am into music and interests that I like and should not be considered “race specific”. Don’t underestimate me because I am short. Don’t think I don’t have feelings like you do and I can just be kicked around like a soccer ball. Stop brainwashing yourselves with stupid stereotypes and stop making yourself think you should conform to those stereotypes in order to conform to our society, and just be yourself and let others do the same. This is one of the struggles I have to deal with almost every day and I hate it. I am not my appearance.
