I see the gorgeous girls in the magazines.
I know the beautiful girls walking down the hallway with their friends.
I see the flawless girls singing a song in a music video.
I see the pretty girls acting in movies and TV shows.
Then, I see me, a girl with scars on her body fighting the pressure to be perfect.

A KID A LOT OF PEOPLE IN MY AREA KNOWS DIED
Two people died yesterday morning. All of them all had some connection with people I know, especially my family. Although I have not met them, my sister was very good friends with one of the young boys who died yesterday morning. They were drink driving, There was six in the car and two of them died. His mother found out her son had died over FACEBOOK. Imagine that, imagine finding out that your son was killed because he go in a car drunk, with drunk people, then imagine not even knowing it, logging onto facebook and people writing a status about the death of your son? It's hard to imaging without crying.
So tonight.. Some of his mates and people who knew him.. Went out to get drunk in honour to him.. Are You Kidding Me?
So Your friend who was drink driving died.. And you honour and remember him by doing the same think that got him killed?
That is PATHETIC on a whole knew level.

    "Underdog"
    I know something you don't
    It comes and goes
Like the strength in your bones, woah
So keep your mind at a rest
I'll never let the two of us be friends
    Does it hurt?
Underdog, just look at the mess you made
Its such a shame, a shame
We had to find out this way
You must have the must have moment in your hands
And its sad to think that this season I'm gonna change
    Just not face to face
It ain't broke, so don't fix it
Underdog, just look at the mess you made
Its such a shame, a shame
We had to find out this way
Revenge loves company, three makes it a crowd
So wash your mouth, sit this one out
    And I'm down,
Down but definitely not out (definitely not out)
Yeah, why did you call me again?
I bet I bet we don't make it (I bet we don't make it)
Cause I never take advice from my (friends)
    Friends in very high places
They're only making bets to themselves,
    selves they're very, very selfish,
We'll keep you in mind in the end
Underdog, just look at the mess you made
It such a shame, a shame
We had to find out this way
Revenge loves company, three makes it a crowd
So wash your mouth, sit this one out

Alec, as it turned out, could be quite persuasive.
In the end, we had nearly every class together, because i'd begged really well.
"Math first." I sighed at him, "ew." He grinned and we stopped just outside the door.
"We could cut. We could.. go somewhere.." He was trapping me against the wall, his breath warm on my ear.
I smiled, "That wouldn't be too smart." he backed up instantly,
"You're right, come on." He held the door for me and we walked in.
I'm pretty sure i've never attracted more stares from anyone in my life.
    ...
After school, Alec drove me home. "Do you wanna come in? We could hang out, maybe watch a movie.."
The weather was started to look dreary, and I was sure i'd felt a drop of rain.
He smiled at me, "Uh, yeah sure." He followed me into my house and we made some popcorn.
"Never go into popcorn making business." He said as we sat down, "What? Why?!" He laughed and tossed a piece at me, "Because your popcorn sucks!" I stood up and threw a piece back and before I knew it we were in a full blown war, I crouched behind the couch and dodged kernals and he was trying to hide behind my large lamp. "You'll never beat me!" I yelled, but I stood up he was gone.
"Alec?" I turned around and he dumped the whole bowl down my shirt, "Ahh!"
He laughed and hugged me tight, and I giggled as the popcorn crunched between us.
He kissed my nose, "You're so beautiful." I laughed and started pulling popcorn out of my tee shirt, "Thanks a lot!" He winked, "You could always take it off." He shrugged and sat down, picking a kernal off his sweatshirt and popping it into his mouth. "Ugh, easy for you to say, you're a guy." he only laughed harder, so to spite him I started lifting the hem of my blouse. His jaw dropped considerably low, and I winked at him.
"I was joking, no pressure." He said slowly. I grinned, "It's no big deal. Wearing a bra is like wearing a bikini."
"Y..yeah but i've never seen you in one of those either!"
I shrugged at him, "oh well." And lifted my shirt off. I shook all the kernals out of it and blushed when he stared at me. I forgot i'd only had like the laciest bra I'd owned for clean laundry. Ah, well.
I pulled my blouse on again and sat down next to him.
"Well? Shall we start the movie? or do you want more popcorn?" He gaped at me.
"You just half undress yourself and then sit down like nothing happened..?"
"You could take your shirt off to be fair." He grinned lopsidedly, "fair enough. or you could take it off for me?"
My face got off, "I've actually never done that.." I trailed off and he hooked his thumbs on his sleeves and yanked his sweater off. Damn, did he work out?
I was staring, and I knew it, but jesus kid!
He pulled it on too soon and blushed like I did before.
    "So, about that movie.."

    Hope Was Here
    Six
It was six in the morning and I was making my way down the rocky path to the corner intersection where my bus would pick me up.
I'd brushed out my already straight black hair and worn a blue and white polka dot blouse tucked into white high waisted shorts. I had on black ankle high moccasins and I was tugging on the strap of my custom aztec shoulder bag when Alec drove up next to me in khakis and a grey knit sweater. He had ray bans on and when he looked up he flashed me a smile and unlocked the car. "Get in." I grinned and hopped in the passenger seat.
"You're a life saver, you know." He kissed my hand and then revved the engine before speeding off towards our school. Jefferson High loomed up and my smile faltered.
I was the new girl here, i'd almost forgotten.
"So, will you introduce me to your friends?" He nodded, but was grim faced. "I doubt you'll have trouble with friends here." I lightly smacked his arm. "Come on. I'm the weird new girl." He grinned, "You're not weird, and frankly, you're kinda hot.." He trailed off and I blushed, I didn't usually like the analogies men gave females but for some reason i didnt mind him calling me hot. "Maybe to you."
We got out and he put his arm lightly around me, I leaned into him and tried to ignore all the stares.
"shes with him?" I could almost feel Alec grinning next to me, his arm slung protectively over my lower back.
But, we weren't together.. right? I mean, I'd known the guy four days. But we did kiss. Oh dear.
"Hey there cutie pie." Blake said, gently tugging me away from Alec and into a bear hug.
"er, hi." He dropped his arms and winked at me, "Give me a call if you want me to show you around." He slipped a piece of paper into my bag. I staggered back and went to stand with Alec, who'd stopped at his locker. I brushed his cheek with my hand, "Don't get all worked up. It was a hug. can you believe people think we're dating?" I tried to laugh a little but he shot me a look. "Of course you think it's funny also. Because why could a guy like me get a girl like you. Oh wait, I cant." He slammed his locker and was about to storm off but I dropped my bag and grabbed his arm tight. "Like, what the hell is your problem Alec? Why do you think I would think something like that? All i've been is your friend lately, like you've been to me. Why is it so hard for you to believe that I like being around you? God. You're seriously ruining this." He tugged his arm out of my hand, but came back to me. "I'm sorry. i'm still self concious about being with the most beutiful girl here."
I smiled despite it all and he kissed me lightly once and then bent to pick up my bag.
"Sorry for real, now come on." I let him hold my hand and we walked to the main office together.

First, you think the worst is a broken heart
What's gonna kill you is the second part
And the third, is when your world splits down the middle
And fourth, you're gonna think that you fixed yourself
Fifth, you see them out with someone else
And the sixth, is when you admit that you may have messed up a little.

    Ten Reasons Why
    Chapter Six
"This is where you live..?" I breathed, my mouth agape at the house before me.
It was huge, a mansion even. He nodded, looking asmused by my facial expression.
I let out a low whistle. "D_mn, didn't know you were rich."
He shrugged. "I don't really tell anyone. I prefer not to be known as
some rich guy at school and have fake friends that only hang out with me
    for my money, you know?"
I smiled, showing him I did. He lead me inside his large home, and upstairs.
"So, tell me why I'm at your house again?"
"Actually I never told you at all."
I nodded. "Hm, exactly. Now would be a good time to do so,
    'cause i'm beyond confused. "
    He didn't say anything still.
We soon entered a room, where there sat a girl who looked like Noah,
only younger. "Raina, meet my sister Delilah. She's annoying, but she's
the only person I've got to give you a good makeover."
I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"A makeover? I never agreed to this. Why would I need a makeover?"
He rolled his eyes. "Rain, I know I don't know you all that well, but I could tell that you seriously want to show those girls who make fun of you who's boss, especially Megan. And I know that you're actually really scary when you want to be, and confident. Why you keep it boxed in, I don't know yet. But I do know that you wear alot of big clothing like you are now because you're hoping it'll help you blend in, but that only makes it worse for you," He paused when he noticed my huge smile.
    He stared at me, confused.
    "Sorry, it's just..thank you."
    He shrugged, and half smiled.
For a second there, we stared at each other intently.
"Girl, you better sit down right now. I may be a year younger than you guys, but I know that that is not in style in your grade, or in any grade for that matter." His sister, Delilah, rambled as she stood up and dragged me over to a makeup table.
Well that moment has been ruined.

For anyone reading Curveball. I know its been a bit of a time between chapter five and six, and I'm working on it but I've had no motivation lately. Things have been really really hetic and I'm kinda just super bummed out today. I'm hoping to find my motivation soon because I like the direction the story is going. I hope you all continue to read once I start posting again.
