    Plan your future
    Record your past
    Frozen in time
    Before your time
    Time after time
    Time will tell
    A question...of time

    3:00 AM
The electronic clock, was no longer working at 3:00 Am.
I was left alone in the cold bed, caught in bed sheets and blankets,
my hair was tousled from dreaming, about days that were the past.
And I had, stayed up too many nights alone, on this bed, waiting.
For you, I've been grasping these bed sheets, trying to find you.
I had spent all these months, waiting and watching for you.
And, I know I am no longer the young girl you loved before.
I know my hair is gray and my face is full of wrinkles.
I hope you never minded, that I am not in the same shape.
That you knew, that you remembered.
About me..and that you never left a piece of me,
in the war. Like how I left your heart in my hands.
The only think that kept me warm..
    3:15 AM
The electronic clock is still no longer working at 3:15

    I fear so many things,
Even though I should fear only fear itself.
I fear the stab of betrayal,
Lost in the fear of loving again.
    I fear the future,
Especially among past decisions that strike fear to my heart.
    I fear the enclosing darkness,
After the fear of light forever fading.
I fear the slice of revenge,
Among the many fears of being forgotten.
I fear the sound of a clock passing time,
Silently hidden in the fear of time passing too slowly.
I fear the pull of hunger,
Between the days of fear of gaining the weight.
    I fear so many things,
But the thing I fear the most, is being stopped at the golden gate.

I wake up, look at the clock "8:30"
I fall back down, thinking I'll sleep a little longer
    "10:30" has come..
I don't want this anymore, I'll stay in bed a little longer
    "1:00" has come..
No seriously, I need to get up.
I walk down stairs, fake my smile,
shower off the tears I cried last night,
My pain is shealded until I'm alone
    Sunset..
Though the time has come where it soon gets dark
and I can feel myself slipping away
    just like everyday
and my demons take over as I take each step
    I'll go to bed...
    I sit there, and think
    and think
    and think
about my life, my past, and how I want it to be
Why can't it be, like, this..
    And the tears start rollings,
    I want to scream
although I have no pity for myself
    I cry
    and cry
    and cry
    until I fall asleep.
I wake up, look at the clock "8:30"

    Some Time Out
    The time may not
    be prime for us,
    though you are
    a special person.
    We may be just
    two different clocks
    that do not tock
    in unison.

    “Try to imagine a life
    without timekeeping.
    You probably can’t.
You know the month, the year, the day of the week.
There is a clock on your wall
or the dashboard of your car.
You have a schedule, a calendar,
a time for dinner or a movie.
Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored.
    Birds are not late.
A dog does not check its watch.
Deer do not fret over passing birthdays.
    Man alone measures time.
    Man alone chimes the hour.
    And, because of this,
man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that
    no other creature endures.
A fear of time running out.”
