"If you went
to college, you could be in Christopher's positiion.
Don't sass your brother." He hissed at Michael.
Michael just shook his head and
laughed.
"Seriously, I told him all
the time. Michael, son go to college. But he never listen. He
lazy, He don't like to study." Sarah told my
parents
Michael made his hand into a fist
on the table. He was angry. But, he was not only angry, he was in
pain. He did all that for his family and this is how they repayed
him?
"You are lazy Michael, Mom
and dad do have a point." Christopher sassed
"Oh yeah? Well why don't
you take that point and shove it up your as!" Michael
yelled.
He holted from the table and
stepped away. Usually, if Michael behaved like this, I would be
very upset with him. But, right now, I was happy that he reacted
the way he did. Someone needed to put that boy back into his
place.
"Looks like some people never
change huh?" Christopher sighed
That was it. I no longer cared if
my parents found out who Michael really was for me. I would
protect him and I would defend him at all
costs.
"You deserve it." I
boldy said
"Excuse me?" He
asked
"Ella," My mother
tried to stop me. My father one the other hand patiently waited
to see what I had to say. What ever I was going to say. It had
to be witty and it had to be bold. I looked at the little girl
sitting next to Sarah.
"What's your name
sweetie?" I asked
"Fiona." She
answered
"Fiona, who bought your
dress?" I asked
"Mikey." She
answered
"The food we're eating
today. Who bought it?" I questioned
"Michael." She
continued
"He pays for pretty much
everything and he takes me to school every morning." She
explained
I gave Christopher a bloody
look.
"I hope I made my point
clear." I sneered back at him the same way he would sneer
at Michael.
"That's all he does
though, all he does is make money, nothing else." Sarah
complained
"Well maybe if you
appriciated him for making money, he would want to do
more!" I yelled
